"Sssssss!" "Whoosh!!"
In the blink of an eye, numerous headless venemous snakes started falling down from the air like rain and Lucifer's attack began to look similar to a blade dance.
He was like a spectre, flashing from one position to the other with astonishing agility, even the Venomous snakes couldn't keep up!
Time passes rapidly and roughly thirty minutes later, the speed of the venemous snake rushing towards him started reducing rapidly as the rest of the Venomous snakes hissed while retreating deeper into the pit in fear.
"Sssss!!!"
A particularly sharp hissing sound echoed through the cave. Lucifer's pupils narrowed as his ears flickered. This hissing sound was different from the others.
"That should be a level-2 venemous snake." The hissing sound was quite far but judging by the speed the savage beast was coming at, it would arrive at his locating in about ten seconds.
Should he flee or fight back?
Struggle appeared on Lucifer's face as he pondered. Firstly, his skin couldn't be broken through by a level-2 savage beast therefore, he wasn't afraid of being poisoned and also had the advantage in speed also with his senses as sharp as a level-2 or maybe even shaper.
Therefore, he had the advantage over any level - 2 beast. Moreover, Venomous snakes only rely on their venoms. If the level-1 beast can't pierce through his skin, it wound be rendered helpless.
Thinking up to here, Lucifer chose to wait but got ready instead, holding the machete tightly.
Suddenly, Lucifer's face fell as two Gigantic pupils twice the size of his reflected light and a large Python twice as large as a regular adult appeared before him.
"Whoosh!"
A sudden piercing sound woke Lucifer up from his shock. He was only able to raise his machete up in defense when a large tail whacked into him like a human-sized baseball bat!
"Boom!"
Lucifer's body flew backwards like a kite, breaking through numerous cavern walls which exploded into pieces.
Before he could regain his senses, another air-splitting sound echoed.
Lucifer immediately stomped his feet to the ground. He swiftly rolled backwards, evading the attack.
"Bang!"
The massive tail slapped at the earth he was standing not long ago, sending shattered rocks and sand to the air.
"What power!" Lucifer's face paled slightly, blood sipping from the corners of his lips. The machete he had bought not too long ago had a huge dent in the middle.
This was a true level-2 mutated beast! Unlike the one's Lucifer had come into contact with before.
Seeing the huge tail slap towards him once more, Lucifer gave a cold snort as he reacted in time. It seemed as if heaven and earth had crumbled, as ground around him shattered under the pressure of his feet. A web of cracks spread outwards, and numerous earth chunks smashed against nearby cave wall before exploding into fine powder.
Slashing his machete ferociously.
"Ding!"
The blade and the tail clashed heavily, lighting up the cave with sparks made from fire.
Lucifer was slapped backward, but with insane agility, he twisted his waist and flipped himself, landing in the ground as he drifted backwards with the resultant force.
Meanwhile, the Venomous snake gave a painful cry, as a long, deep wound over three inches deep, was caused by the machete strike launched by Lucifer on its tail, almost splitting it into two. A huge amount of dark-red blood sprayed out from its tail. The severe pain made it tremble.
Lucifer had used all of his strength and was barely able to sever the tail of the beast. This left him gasping in astonishment. He had never heard or seen a venemous snake with such tough scales.
Since level-1 snakes only had venoms and weak defenses, shouldn't level-2 also have the same flaw?
Lucifer could finally see the true appearance of the Venomous snake.
Other venemous snakes had green scales and some ones have a light-blue color. But this aggressive Snake who leaped out from the depth of the pit has a layer of densely arranged black scales on its skin, and their shapes were completely different than ordinary snake scales. There was a fine golden line on the edge of the scales, and it was indeed a very beautiful looking snake.
"Hou!" Like a hurricane attacking, it produced a low roar that made one's heart palpitate.
Following the low roar, the Python instantly rushed towards Lucifer and opened its gaping maw. The jaws of the python were at least a two meters wide. It instantly rushed towards Lucifer in an attempt to swallow him whole!
Within the golden colored eyes of the python, a furious rage could be seen. Perhaps, to this monster in the cave, killing a human was not worth mentioning. But Lucifer had managed to injure its body, how could it not be angered?
In a flash, it's ill-smelling, enormous, bloody mouth had already come before Lucifer's eyes.
"Ha~~" Lucifer's eyes were sharp and haughty. His right hand gripped the handle of the machete and was raised high up.
"Bang!" "Whoosh!!"
Lucifer left several after images as he leapt upwards. The blade headed towards the big bloody mouth and smacked on it with heavy downward cut!
The blade transformed into a series of shadows.
Crackle! The air exploded as the wind surrounding him was rapidly slashed apart by the force of his blade.
"Peng!"
The strike containing this terrifying strength struck the head of the python, making deep-sounding smashing sounds.
Lucifer is already exceptionally strong, and being struck heavily on the head caused the Python's skull to make creaking sounds.
Involuntarily, it's head slammed heavily to the ground, closing its maw. However, after piercing one inch into its skull, the blade was forcefully stuck in its skull. It couldn't go any further.
Lucifer's face darkened, the machete was not not meant to battle Mutated Creatures and only meant for slicing and cutting meat.
Hoping it could pierce through the bones of a savage beast was over reaching. Yet, Lucifer has used it against the skull of a level-2 mutated beast. It was impressive it had managed to piece three centimeters deep in the creature's skull.
