Ring Ring Ring
The buzz caused by the vibration of the phone resonated in the quiet moving car. It has been buzzing for hours now, with a few stops once in a while.
Leila, who was in the back seat of the moving vehicle, had her head on the headrest with her eyes closed. She slowly opened them as she tilted her head to the side to have a look at her phone.
She did not even have to look at it to know who was calling. It might be different phone numbers, but it was the same place it was coming from.
Leila again turned away from the phone, just as slowly as she looked at it. Her head was still aching like a billion stones were being tossed at it.
Her gaze rested on the ceiling of the car. Another cab car that was yet again borrowed from Roman, who again did not mind and gave it to her once Fay had told him of Leila's predicament.
