It was past two in the morning and Nolan had still not gotten feedback from his men. His only guess is that they have been caught. He needs time to round up more of his men to rescue them.
He had no idea what Leila would do to them. If they were arrested by now, he would have gotten intel, but then he has not. Reluctantly, he takes out another phone from the drawer in the dark corner of the room, which was a backup phone.
Frankly, he had no idea how to distract Leila to have access to her house and find out if she trapped them in there, but he decided to make the phone call in the expectation that an idea will pop up once he was in a tight corner.
He makes the call, but after several rings, it informs him that the line is busy. Determined, he calls after a few minutes and after a few rings, the phone is picked he does not allow Leila to speak when he blurted out, "Will you go on a date with me?"
