Leila moved her hands as she slowly became conscious, but her head ached, and a low groan escaped her lips. She continued groaning with her eyes shut as her mind pictured what happened hours earlier.
Nolan and Audrey rushed into the room, and he immediately sat beside her holding her hand as he muttered, "I'm here, Leila"
Audrey shook her head while rolling her eyes. Then she turned to Leila as she moved closer. Leila opened her eyes slowly as her eyes adjusted to the bright light of the room.
She spotted Audrey first and her eyes narrowed. Her brain was slow to react, but her facial expression was clear that she did not recognize who Audrey was. Leila tried to get up, but Nolan held her down.
"She is my sister" he informed
It was then that Leila noticed his presence. She turned to him, blinking her eyes weakly. "Where am I?" she asked
"My house, you'll be alright" Nolan responded
