Micah didn't rush his executives for an answer. He could understand that their thoughts were running full speed through their head as they considered the gravity of his words. He himself was even slightly surprised at what he had said. But after spending all that pol on pimping the balcony, he seemed to have gotten caught up in the atmosphere.
But at the same time, nothing of what he had said had been a lie. If they didn't continue climbing upward through the ranks of Hell, their only end would be a fall down to the ground. They would be no different from the other residents of Vanitapolis. They would be powerless and stuck, locked in eternal torment with nothing to do. Well, at least until Hell collapsed, but Rego and the others didn't know about that.
