"Nick," Arissa called him softly and cautiously, she held both sides of his burning-hot face and forced him to look at her.
"I did not say I love you to leave you in the next second or on your bad days. I said I love you because I meant it and I can't tell how it happened to make you believe it more than you do but I'm sure about what I feel," she leaned down and placed a kiss on his forehead, "I love you and I'll forever be with you. I won't mind being with you after we become ghosts,"
Nicklaus caught hold of her wrist on his face, "I do not doubt you," he said to her.
Arissa searched his eyes and then she took her hands off his face and proceeded to claim off the bed. Nicklaus caught hold of her naked waist before she would move an inch further.
"Where are you going?" he panicked. His parent's memory got the best of him and he feared Arissa would leave the moment she got out of bed.
