Time passed slowly and Arissa enjoyed each of the seconds she spent conversing with Mrs. Wyatt.
Both women talked like best friends would do without holding back on anything. Their trust in the next person grew stronger in seconds.
Currently, they were preparing dinner in the kitchen but that did not stop the conversation from going on.
Mrs. Wyatt stirred the pot slowly and scoped out a little for Arissa. "Do you like how it tastes?" she asked, placing the spoon before Arissa's lips.
Arissa parted her lips and drank in the small soup. Her eyes sparkled and her face brightened with a smile after she had tasted the soup.
"It's amazing, I like it. Why don't we add a little salt?" she suggested licking her lips.
Mrs. Wyatt chuckled and faced the pot with the spoon, "Just as I thought," she said picking up the salt.
