Logan watched Alfred from across the room intensely. He had always looked up to Alfred and took him as an idol when it comes to the game but sadly, the man is no longer as high as he held him to be.
Tsk seems like old age caught up with him or he was a little too greedy to think straight.
"Why don't you add the police to your search for Adele?" Logan suggested, "Cheif commands them right?" he asked mockingly but Alfred was too relaxed and dumb to notice the mockery in Logan's tune.
Alfred frowned, "I'd double your pay and pay you this instant." he assured.
Logan lifted his eyes to Alfred and not saying anything, he lifted his glass to his lips and took a slow luxurious sip.
