Arissa's brow furrowed when she heard what the man before her said: "Does he mean am not good enough?" she asked herself inwardly. She snapped her head to him and seeing how he nonchalantly sipped his drink, she understood that he would say no sorry to her just like how he did not apologize to that lady.
And now, Arissa felt angry, stupid, and pathetic all at the same time. This is all her parent's fault if not she would not have been this desperate coming down here.
