"Fuck!" Nicklaus cursed as he caught hold of his wife's body before she reached the floor.
His heart drooped into his stomach when he saw Arissa's body dropping to the floor. Out of reflex, he came out of his hiding and caught her body.
He arrived here a few minutes ago but decided to stay away when he heard her concerned with Jocelyn. The conversation left him speechless for a few minutes and was only able to bring a smile to his face when he heard Arissa's confession about loving their child. He was proud of himself for being able to accomplish one of his highest goals after meeting her. He couldn't ask for anything more when he heard her say that she already loved their baby even without meeting the child.
