I felt tears gathering up in the corner of my eyes, the fright of watching someone get beheaded in front of me was unsettling, but to our greatest surprise, both guards who acted like they had nine lives began to beg for mercy.

I found it to be childish and rather foolish, it was clear evidence that they took the king for granted, and that made me wonder why those maids ran as soon as they saw him in the queen's Chamber the day before.

Both knights were held tightly to the ground that they barely moved but they yelled out for mercy from the King who was already disgusted by their disregard.

" I wish you could make me change my mind, " I said, behead them now, Azrael! " He yelled again and Azrael drew out his sword.

The vicinity was tense as everyone watched with cold hearts, no one at that point spoke to the king except the two culprits. They struggled and pleaded but the knights that held them down were obviously ten times stronger than they were.
