Chapter 37 - 37

Before he could strike, a sword caught his sword in midair, Azrael had stopped him by blocking the swords from hitting the King, although the King never reacted like someone who was about to hit.

"I told you not to bother yourself so much Azrael," the king said to him but neither of them was listening.

Adriel took back his sword and faced Azrael in a fit of rage, they stared into each other's eyes as they both took their stand ready to kill each other.

Azrael took the first strike but for some reason, he couldn't move his hands, it looked like he was paralyzed on the spot and couldn't move a muscle, even Adriel who was ready to fight him was confused.

"No no Azrael, I told you not to waste time on him and you never listen, do you? Now look at what you have done to yourself,"

Then he turned to Adriel and said "Take the first strike on me if you dare," the king took out a sword from his robe and I was rather surprised because I had never imagined that he was with one.
