The armored guard never noticed during that week that the chains had weakened considerably, so he didn't expect that the next time that he would see Sigma, he would have a surprise in store for him.
While Sigma waited for his chance, he wondered why they never talked or why that guy didn't curse him or something. At some point, it became clear that the armored guard was just an underling… still, that only raised more questions as to who captured Sigma and why they put him there instead of disposing of him completely. Regardless, he was going to make good of their foolishness.
