"That is a dark barrier that protects the entrance of the shrine of the demigod that ruled over this area before," Shyona explained. "Once enough high-level blood is spilled, the barrier will disappear, and then we can claim the treasure that they want."
Ed, Eclair, Sabrina, Lucy, and Nara looked at Sigma, waiting to hear an explanation, but he ignored them. It was too much of a hassle to explain what he had learned, and he didn't even know if it was true to not. It was better to focus on the battle ahead than anything else. Still, Shyona explained to them the same things that she explained to Sigma… they looked even more dubious than him.
"Sigma is over fifty years old?" Ed furrowed his eyebrows. "That would explain a few things, but…"
