Although they had a bit of information from the map, none of the group didn't know what kind of creatures they would find between Heilia and Thoria, the next city. So, they were caught off guard when all of a sudden, some weird creatures emerged from the ground. They didn't have a shape that it was easy to determine… they looked like small sand hills that could move. They also had three holes in their faces, so they looked really creepy.
The sand beasts were like two meters long, tall, and wide, so Sigma didn't hesitate in firing three arrows at them. However, the projectiles passed through them without slowing down the beasts.
"What the…" Sigma furrowed his eyebrows.
"They are special monsters… they don't suffer damage like others," Nara said while furrowing her eyebrows. "You have to damage their cores to be able to kill them."
