Chapter 68 - Hellish heat

  Although the group advanced carefully for several days, they soon Increased their speed when they found traces of the enemies ahead. For some reason, hundreds of footsteps suddenly appeared on the ground three days after they left Foilia. That sure was suspicious... the group had some theories, but they didn't seem likely.

"This is weird… do you think that they crossed all this distance by flying?" Ed asked while analyzing the footsteps on the ground.

"It is hard to say… they did something to make sure that no one would pursue them, but usually, they wouldn't have to fear that with their numbers," Sigma scratched his chin.

"Why not?" Sabrina asked.

"Because we assumed that they are working with demons since Foilia was attacked by monsters, and well," Sigma replied. "If they don't have to fear demons and monsters, then only humans would be a problem to them, but it was hard to imagine that they would expect a large force to chase them so soon."
