"What is this…" Sigma frowned. "Is this a game HUD bar? Wait… what is…"
The question made Sigma recall some memories… memories of a world where electronic devices existed, and he found such things in that world. He didn't recall enough memories of it, but he could tell that he had been there.
"I guess I need the right stimulus to recall some things," Sigma opened his eyes once the headache ended.
Thanks to the memories, Sigma managed to know instinctively how to use the HUD bar, and then after focusing his eyes on it. It expanded.

"This is a system, I believe," Sigma stroked his chin while checking the skill that he had. "Did I have this before?"
Sigma couldn't recall… Regardless, it seemed like something useful to have, even if he couldn't explain its origin. Somehow, Sigma instinctively knew how to use his skill and then converted his mana into the experience.

"Hmm, let's see what else I can do with this…" Sigma thought while checking his parameters.
Strength: increases physical attack power and ability to carry and lift things. Increases health by five points.
Speed: increases reaction and movement speed. Increases stamina by five points.
Magic: increases magic attack power and ability to control mana. Increases mana by five points.
Endurance: decreases the damage caused by physical attacks. Increases mana by five points.
Dexterity: increases your ability to craft things and make precise movements. Increases stamina by five points.
Resistance: decreases the damage caused by magic attacks. Increases mana by five points.
"Simple enough, I guess… increasing my magic now will increase my mana and ability to gain more experience, but I can't use magic now," Sigma nodded to himself. "I wonder why all this makes so much sense to me."
Before making any decisions, Sigma waited for a while and confirmed that his mana couldn't recover that fast only one point every ten minutes. It was another reason to be careful.
The sun was right above, and Sigma was getting hungrier by the minute. He figured out that he could make some campfire with the wood inside the cottage.. even with some parts of the cottage if he had to, but first, Sigma needed a weapon. The kitchen knife wasn't going to do it.
"My options are a spear… and a bow," Sigma said once he checked the interior of the cottage with more focus and found some flint, sticks, strings, a kitchen knife, and a leather bag.
Sigma grabbed everything and took outside. Before setting the campfire, Sigma used the knife to carve a spear with the longest stick he found. It was pretty thin as well, so it didn't look that reliable. Still, Sigma managed to craft a pretty decent bow since the sticks were elastic enough.
"I know exactly what I am doing… Did I craft one of these before?" Sigma thought.
[You learned the passive Craft.]
[Craft: passively increases the speed of construction and quality of items made by you by ten percent per level.]
Sigma nodded to himself in satisfaction. Making the bow had been a lot easier than expected. Making wooden arrows shouldn't be that difficult since he knew how to make bows. The problem was that Sigma didn't have that many sticks long enough to become arrows.
Two hours passed, and Sigma had five arrows. During that time, his mana recovered by twelve points, so it was safe to assume that it was his natural regeneration rate. Once he was done with it, Sigma started the fire and burned the tips of the arrows for a bit to make them a bit more durable and a bit sharper. Running out of arrows will be a pain, but he will have more chances to make them once he deals with the wolves surrounding the area.
"I can see one of them hiding behind a bush and watching me… I wonder if I can hit it from here," Sigma nocked an arrow and pointed at the creature. "It feels like it has never seen a bow, or it is just too stupid to feel the danger... or maybe it can tell that I am a novice."
Despite that, Sigma saw the arrow and his aim getting steadier. He almost could feel his experience helping him… he definitely knew how to hunt, and his ability to craft arrows and make a bow so fast wasn't a fluke.
Sigma fired and saw the arrow flying and trembling in midair while heading toward the creature's head… the projectile pierced the space between the eyes.
[You got 01 EXP.]
[You learned the passive Archery.]
[Archery: passively increases the damage caused when using bows by ten percent per level.]
[The skill Stealth was added to the skill shop.]
"This shouldn't be hard to level up on the early stages, but I need to be really precise with the arrows since there are more wolves around, and I will have to expose myself to lure them," Sigma thought after blinking several times. "I can't afford to miss those moments…"
Sigma had to look for Saria since he was certain that his memories would return once he found her. He also needs to find those that attacked and left him to die on his birthday.
Despite having those thoughts, Sigma didn't feel anger or anything similar. He just felt that he had to do it because it was only natural that any action would cause a reaction… those who attacked him would face the reaction that would be his revenge.
