Gritzl implemented Torque's advice with a twist of his own; he set up a weekly roster, where the men were on shifts.
While some were training with weapons, others would be working in the fields and another set around the keep.
Each week the different groups would rotate that way everyone learned how to use a weapon in case war suddenly broke out while Tiamat was at the Dragon King Court, the keep would not be defenseless.
Fiona praised Gritzl for his efforts and determination to make things work at Thornwyck.
"Pretty soon you'll be heading out to own your own keep," remarked Fiona.
"True," Gritzl said sheepishly. "Still, I'm not in any rush being in charge of Thornwyck. I find myself surprisingly learning from the men here. They might do things differently than what I was taught but I see a lot of merit in their ways."
