Chen Jihyun cross checked the letter again making sure it looked like a plain letter to normal sight, but it was a riddle to the real letter.
He strolled outside to his garden that was filled with beautiful sunflowers and daisies, as they bloomed brightly each one of them displaying their various colours and refreshing scent.
At the end of the garden there was a tall wooden cage that reached Chen Jihyun shoulder.
The cage contained a pigeon which chirped happily eating the grains placed before him.
Chen Jihyun ignoring the bird cries pulled it out and attached a little pouch to it's back which contained the letter.
He moved away from the cage and went towards his fence as the cage was blocking the way.
Chen Jihyun let the bird free after giving it instructions and the bird soared high in the sky only to be shot at directly by an arrow, causing the bird to fall to the ground.
Chen Jihyun smirked in response, he had already expected nothing less than this, good thing he was prepared.
With that thought Chen Jihyun moved away from the fence and hurriedly went to another cage that held a turtle dove bird in it.
Chen Jihyun attached a pouch underneath the wings in a way that was not noticeable and placed a paper in it before sending the dove off.
Seeing it fly away Chen Jihyun realized a sigh of relief, now it all count down to Song Minhyun, he really hoped she could decipher the message or his efforts would be useless.
Song Minhyun stared outside the window absent mindedly while seating on her bed.
She pondered on new ways to make the Emperor forgive her and make her the Empress of Chi nation.
Song Minhyun was tired of waiting, in fact she was fed up, for twenty years she had waited patiently for the Emperor to fall in love with her but to no avail.
She remembered clearly that the only reason why he had touched her on their wedding night was because of an incense that made one's desire raise, but throughout the whole thing he was calling the Empress's name which provoked Song Minhyun and it was there and then she decided to kill the bitch, so the Empress wouldn't stand in the way of the Emperor love for her.
Song Minhyun suddenly noticed a bird that perched on her window scratching it's wings like it was suggesting something.
Song Minhyun was of course irritated at the dirty creature and was about to call a maid to get rid of it, when Song Minhyun spotted a special pouch that she and Chen Jihyun normally used to communicate.
Song Minhyun stood up abruptly, cursing Chen Jihyun under her breath as she was a little bit scared of the fact someone must have seen the bird.
Song Minhyun hurriedly stood up to take the pouch opening it to a see a tiny paper in there.
Song Minhyun seeing the contents frowned even more, so all that trouble for this, Song Minhyun thought.
Song Minhyun was tempted to ask the dove if it was Chen Jihyun that sent the message or not but knew the dove couldn't talk so she let it be as it flew away, having done his task.
Song Minhyun went back to her bed with a frown in her face.
Song Minhyun had originally changed to a white robe and removed all the pins which held her hair, letting it fall over her shoulders.
The frown in her face complemented her well, as she didn't look like one who has aged a bit.
Song Minhyun thought deeply on seeing the one sentence letter which states, "There is nothing hidden under the sun." or was Chen Jihyun drunk when he sent the message down to her or what.
Song Minhyun stood up from the bead starting to ponder again what could it mean, Song Minhyun definitely was not actually a dumb woman.
Being the only daughter in the Qi nation, she was trained to the tip top and pampered by everyone in her family.
But marrying Han Jisung changed her as they say, love is ruthless.
And she was helplessly in love with no way out, it always made her act without thinking most times and that got her in trouble with the Emperor.
Maybe it was because Song Minhyun hadn't been really using her intellect these days had caused her not to understand the message.
It was starting to sink that it might been a coded message to her, as she recollected what happened in the court today.
So it's either it was about her, the Emperor, Bogsu or Chen Jihyun himself.
There is nothing hidden under the sun, Song Minhyun thought again, then her eyes widened in realization, Song Minhyun quickly rushed outside with the letter in her hands not even putting in a robe to cover herself up.
Song Minhyun felt stares as she exited her chambers but that was not her concern now, Song Minhyun stretched towards the sun and suddenly faint words started appearing on the letter.
Song Minhyun tried to read it but couldn't as the sun also penetrated into her eyes.
She rushed back into her chambers, and hurriedly asked a maid to light up a candle and bring it to her room immediately.
The maid obeyed silently secretly annoyed as to why the Concubine need a candle in broad daylight.
As the candle was brought in, Song Minhyun hurriedly placed the letter on top of the fire and immediately words appeared on the paper, more words than the single sentence earlier.
Song Minhyun reading every sentence in the newly formed words felt colour drained her face and when she reached the end, the candle holder slipped from her hands and the candle holder fell to the ground making a loud noise causing the maids to run in, immediately.
Song Minhyun felt tears gathered her eyes as she remembered the content of the letter, she couldn't believe it.
Song Minhyun being reminded of the presence of her maids held back her tears, lifting her face up she rested on the wall behind he with her eyes closed.
