Shijie left Ruyan and went straight to the dining room. As he entered the dining room, he saw his mother and father already seated at the table on which a platter of delicious food was placed.
Li Yan and Li Junwei also smiled amicably as they saw their son. As he walked up to the table and sat on the table, Li Junwei said, "You're here. How was your morning?"
Shijie relaxed in his seat as his gaze went over the dishes and he responded, "It was good."
Li Junwei nodded and said, "Let's begin, the food is getting cold."
Shijie nodded and immediately started eating his breakfast as he was exhausted and hungry from all the training. Li Yan and Li Junwei looked at each other and also began eating their breakfast in silence.
A few moments later, Li Junwei asked, "Son, I heard what happened earlier in the city."
