Chapter 26 - Dwarf

"You're opening a gym?" Jimmy asked while stretching his back.

"Not just any gym, a gym with a yearly membership and it's just a Zumba gym. So our outlay will be low."

Zhu Jiao smiled as he explained.

"For now I'll need to do a few things, once it gets up and running, I have so much to do and so little time!"

A few days passed, and he had reached out to the 4 merchants and collected his share of the profit, he immediately pulled them in to explain the new business idea and of course, they welcomed it immensely.

Following the same business model, they opened up the first 30 franchises for bidding, needless to say after the huge popularity of the Middle Earth chains, countless numbers of large families and merchants came to queue up to bid for it.

The name of the gym was decided to be "Les Lin's Gym" and within that one day of bidding 30 franchisees were chosen, following the model they created each franchisee sent 2 of their employees as the Zumba coaches to be personally taught by Les Lin himself (AKA. Zhu Jiao, AKA Lin Dong).

After settling the miscellaneous stuff, Zhu Jiao had gone into the school to try to apply for a permit to create a gym in the school, the stipulations being. The business run should be paid in school credits, which has its pros and cons, the good thing about running the business in school credits is that it's much harder to earn school credits than money.

The downside is that school credits are only useful for current students. So it all adds up, thinking about it Zhu Jiao nodded his head, the benefits outweigh the cost and he decided to go along with it. The key issue now is him getting enough credits, after contemplating for a bit he came to a conclusion.

He will reach into his bag of tricks and sell some of the items he had refurbished a few months before. With renewed vigor he took big strides walking into the equipment hall.

The Equipment hall is a massive 12-storey building with floors upon floors of equipment of all shapes and sizes students are free to purchase any equipment they please, with payment via school credit.

Walking into the hall with a pep in his step he got stopped by the guards standing outside,

"Security check, are you here for purchase or sales?"

"I'm here to sell some stuff…" Zhu Jiao replied, peeking in behind the doors to catch a glimpse of the resplendent inside.

"Sorry sir, do you have a profession token? Something like a blacksmith token or an alchemist token? We need this to verify every visitor, we can't just let anyone in."

Zhu Jiao scratched his head.

"Will a core disciple token do? I don't think I have any other profession token. Digging in his pocket, the rune array master token dropped out and landed on the floor, the bright shine blinding the eyes of the guards."

The guard on the left immediately nudged the guard on the right and they stopped in their place as he pointed to the ground as he asked Zhu Jiao,

"Excuse me, Sir… Is that a Rune Array Master token? Can I verify that?"

Squatting down to pick up the token he replied with glee, "Oh! This counts too? That's great then, here you can verify it."

After standing up he flipped the token over to the guard who caught it with shaky hands. Immediately recognizing it he whispered to the guard beside him who ran inside towards the store quickly.

"Sir, please wait a bit here. Someone will come down to fetch you." The guard bowed as he politely asked Zhu Jiao to hold for a bit.

A few moments later footsteps could be heard as a pretty lady walked down the stairs, she sashayed past everyone and looked at Zhu Jiao, she walked up to him before smiling politely.

"Excuse me, you're blocking the door."

Zhu Jiao realized just then that he was blocking the way and evidently, that was not who was coming to pick him up, so he moved to the side allowing her to cross as he watched her walk away.

Zhu Jiao felt a tap on the shoulder and turned around quickly, to his surprise he found no one there. Looking around quickly he found no trace of anyone until he shifted his gaze downwards and shocked himself.

"Oh, hello there!"

"Dear sir, my employees told me you have something to sell to the Equipment Hall?"

"Yes, I do. Please follow me, sir."

The short and tiny manager of the Equipment Hall beckoned Zhu Jiao to follow him. He didn't hold back on the small talk (hehe) while talking to Zhu Jiao.

"Dear Sir, my name is Ai Ren, may I know your name sir?"

"I'm Lin Dong, nice to meet you."

Zhu Jiao replied to Ai Ren as he smiled nodded his head and led him along, they went up the stairs past the 2nd and 3rd floors, and arriving on the 4th floor the atmosphere changed. What was normal and light-hearted on the lower floors became posh on the 4th floor.

Instead of people standing around looking at items, there were plenty of seats that were luxurious and staff brought items for them.

As he followed Ai Ren to the 5th-floor entrance, someone stood up from his seat and spoke to the staff that was serving him.

"It seems that anyone can just go to the upper levels of the Equipment Hall… is no one going to apprehend that brat?"

Zhu Jiao, who was walking, immediately stopped in place as a few staff came in front of him trying to block him from proceeding any further.

Standing facing the guards and the Young Master who had a face of arrogance, Zhu Jiao simply smiled. He felt a tingle run down his spine, it was finally time for a major face slapping opportunity!
