The night was dark and quiet... Too quiet. In fact this kind of silence was usually impossible when both young ladies were in the house and everyone was still awake.
But tonight was different. After the long explanation which was given mostly by Roxy, Mama Mae and Papa Jay sat in front of both girls, silently watching them with open eyes.
"Ahem," mama Mae clears her throat out loud, breaking the silence.
"So what you girls are telling us now is that, there's a lizard that can talk and change to a man?"
"Mama, seriously? Of everything we said, that was the only thing you got?"
"Well, don't blame me, I'm just trying to process everything you just said." Mama Mae says in her defense.
"So you broke up with your boyfriend?" Papa Jay asks, and Roxy's eyes and mouth opened in disbelief.
What exactly was wrong with her parents, why were they dwelling on the unimportant things and skipping the major part.
