By the time they left the beach, it was already past two in the morning. All the way back to the shop, she had her arms wrapped around his figure.
They rode through the early hours of the morning, allowing nothing but peaceful silence pass through them.
A feeling of relief and satisfaction filled her, as she had let out her heart. She couldn't hold it in any longer, and that was why she confessed to him.
He didn't tell her he loved her back... But then again, she didn't expect him to. So it didn't hurt her heart that he didn't say it back. She could feel it in his kisses, and the way he held her, and the way he looked at her.
She could tell he felt something for her too. It's fine if he doesn't say it yet, she'd wait... For as long as it would take for him to say those words back to her, she was willing to wait.
