"From the story you told us," Gary points at himself and Barry who quietly sat there watching them bicker.
"You do realize that it sounds like you could actually be killed there by this demon?" Gary sincerely asks.
He had the worlds most insufferable boss, but still, he had come to care for the man as a friend. It was a weird thing to see a boss as a friend. Maybe a spoilt junior brother was the best description. But either way, he cared for his boss.
"Oh don't worry, I told you, I have superpowers." Reuel proudly says... "Even though I don't know if it works or not." He adds in a mumble. And then lifts his head to stare at Gary intently.
"I believe in you. I know you can manage this business perfectly. Truth be told, you've been doing it all this while. All I've been doing is approving projects and putting my signature on them. You're the force behind the Caddel business..."
Gary rolls his eyes, trying to hide the blush that rose to his cheeks.
