Chapter 15 - The Sadistic Crono's Training Method

Magnus became lost in his thoughts. He didn't even realize that he spent a long time in the carriage. He already forgot that Farqos ordered him to carry these Sol Agates into the mansion.

"Magnus, the Young Master is asking why you aren't carrying the Sol Agates into the mansion," a voice said without warning.

Magnus left his thoughts and reentered reality. He found Ava staring at him from outside the carriage. She had a concerned look on her face.

"Ah, fuck!"

Magnus was immediately scared shitless. He didn't manage to understand the booklet to start absorbing the Sol. He grabbed the Sol Agate under him and lifted it.

To his surprise, it was very light. It wasn't as heavy as he expected it to be. It was at most half of the weight a normal rock would weigh.

"Thank you!"

Magnus ran with the Sol Agate in his arms. He entered through the backdoor of the mansion and stopped as someone was blocking his way.

Farqos, with his arms crossed and tapping his shoes, glared at Magnus.

"What took you so long?" Farqos asked, an angry tone in his voice.

"Was this the Sol Agate? I wasn't sure, so I kept looking," Magnus lied as easily as he breathed.

"Idiot!" Farqos cursed.

He shook his head and felt disappointed at Magnus.

"Yes! That is the Sol Agate. I said it was in the carriage, right?" Farqos responded with annoyance.

Magnus smiled wryly and looked away. He felt ashamed, but it was better than letting Farqos know that he tried to absorb the Sol in this Sol Agate he was carrying.

"Go! Carry them fast for me. The sun is about to fall below the horizon. I won't be able to absorb the gentle sol of the sunset!" Farqos urged Magnus and waved his hand.

Magnus placed the Sol Agate in his arms in front of Farqos and left quickly. He came back and Ava pointed him inside.

He arrived before a spacious garden. It was located at the center of the mansion. There was a small pond, palm trees, and a lot of greenery.

Farqos was sitting cross-legged at the center while holding the Sol Agate up with his two hands. He seemed to be at peace.

Magnus took a deep breath. He looked at the sky and saw the Sun slowly descending. A few minutes later, it would be sunset.

He placed the Sol Agate he carried in front of Farqos and left. In under ten minutes, he had brought all of the Sol Agates in.

He finished and sat down beside Ava, who was standing in the hallway.

"That was tiring…" Magnus said, exhausted.

"..."

Ava didn't say anything but stared at him. She was observing his face intently.

"Is something on my face?" Magnus asked in surprise.

"You tried to use the Sol Agates, didn't you?" she whispered.

Magnus widened his eyes and looked around. Thankfully, Farqos wasn't near, or he would have been pissed.

"Shhh…"

"Haha." Ava chuckled. "The Young Master has no idea how many Sol Agates arrive. If one or two disappears, he will not notice."

"...Thank you."

Magnus was stunned by her words. He thought she would threaten him, but instead, she helped him.

"I want you to complete your promise tonight. They will dispose of her body soon," Ava warned.

"I understand what you mean."

Magnus stood up and nodded his head.

"How do I say thank you with my body?" Magnus asked.

"What are you talking about?"

"Do I bow and say thank you?"

"Are you asking this in our Cynthian tradition?"

"Yes."

"Hmmm… You close your dominant hand and wrap your other hand around it. Then you put it in front of your heart. That is how you thank in Cynthia," Ava explained while doing it herself.

Magnus followed her instruction to show her his gratitude.

Ava nodded her head.

"Does that mean you're left-handed?" Magnus asked.

"And you're right-handed?" she asked back.

"Yes."

"Mm."

"Oh."

Magnus waved at her and left for the Training Room.

He walked under the moonlight. There were various lights lit up around the Bravodel Clan. These were made of stones that glow under the moon.

He soon arrived at the Training Room. He walked down the stairs and entered inside.

"..."

Once he was there, he was traumatized by what he saw.

In front of Caitlyn's dead body, Jurena was crying. She was already untied and unblindfolded.

She looked up and saw his traumatized face. Fear immediately took over her whole body.

"N-No more…"

Jurena wrapped her arms around herself and huddled in the corner. The other cynthians were dead with their blood splattered everywhere.

"What happened?" Magnus asked and walked inside.

In total, there were only six of them left. Those that were still alive were crying and shaking vehemently. Their sobs shook Magnus' soul.

Jurena avoided his eyes, and a flood of tears fell from her eyes.

"Hey! What happened?"

"Ahhh! I- I will lick her blood so don't kill more!" Jurena shouted and ran to the spilled blood beside Caitlyn's corpse like a dog. She opened her mouth and licked the blood crazily.

"W-What…"

Magnus looked at the pool of blood. It was dry already, so he could see licking patterns.

"This is sick…"

Magnus turned around and vomited. He didn't eat anything yet, but he felt like he wanted to throw up all of the contents of his stomach.

The smell of his vomit seemed to wake Jurena up from her deranged state. She stopped licking the blood and raised her head. It took a while, but she recognized that it was Magnus.

"Y-You're back..? Ahahahaha… We're doomed…"

Magnus looked at her crazed eyes. She had lost all reason and became insane. Her mind was fully broken.

The door to the training room opened, and Crono walked in.

"Oh, you're here. I don't have to do the next part then. Have sex with her and make her feel good. Make her feel comfortable and coerce her into serving men," Crono said.

From the tone of his voice, Magnus could tell that what he was saying was a normal part of his life.

It was sickening. If only he were stronger, Magnus would have killed him right here.
