Yang Kai took care of other matters while Yang Rai went to cultivate in seclusion again. This time he didn't go to the tree. Just to his private Refining room. He was going to work on more Artifacts and finish increasing his glyphs to T10. He spent what felt like no time at all to him doing this. He didn't finish the glyphs but he did receive a message he was needed. The Chief Manager was with a frantic Rou Xi.
"Rou Xi, what's wrong?"
"Big brother Yang Kai was attacked. My master is fighting him right now."
"I see, Hua Qing Si informed the other Elders of this at once. Rou Xi opened your universe and let me check it."
"What About Yang Kai?"
"My brother isn't so weak to die in a 1v1 fight against a 7th rank."
"Alright. I'll trust you Brother Yang Rai."
Rou Xi opened her Universe World and Yang Rai looked over the whole thing. He found nothing he would consider to be a miss. As such he decided.
"Chief Manager, have someone keep Ruo Xi company and safe."
"Yes Vice-Palace Master."
"Tell the elders I have already left."
Yang Rai departs instantly. This was the first time in a while he got to fight. He hated war with a burning passion but fighting to improve one's strength was not the same. When he got to the place Yang Kai was fighting, he could tell there was something disgusting about the energy coming from the person he was fighting. It felt completely evil in nature. Not a shred of good came from it.
Yang Rai began to act and quickly subdued the person through capture and cultivation suppression. It happened so fast it surprised Yang Kai. Who had been slightly injured. Yang Kai began his recovery while Yang Rai inspected this Elder's Universe.
"There is no mistaking this brother. I think this must be the secret they are hiding. It's no wonder they wanted those items so bad."
"What is it?"
