The Elders came from the Cave Heavens and Paradises. Every single one of them. Clearly they were planning for something far more terrifying than 1 person. Once they arrived and saw that Shi Zheng wasn't dead they all went on guard.
"Why is he still alive?"
"I wasn't sure if you had any methods to reverse the damage. Thought it best to ask, after all a seventh rank is a heavy loss."
"Unfortunately once this happens there is no going back."
"Alright. But before I do allow him to die. You all need to cough up this terrible secret. My brother has been targeted by this enemy now which means Void Land/High Heaven Palace is now a force in this fight whether you like it or not. I demand to know what exactly we are facing."
"Still this… really shouldn't be for anyone other than high rank open heaven."
"I just subdued one effortlessly. I think I'm qualified to know this. Aside from my position both my brother and I are son-in-laws of major forces. Now cough up the secret."

The elders began to explain how they have been fighting against an ancient enemy. The energy they use is highly corrupt and can turn cultivators into what they call Ink disciples. The Ink Clan is highly dangerous to all life and they say that the 2 rank limits can be broken if they cultivate with Ink Force.
"I see. Let me try something before I kill Shi Zheng. After all, if the only enticing part behind Ink Force is the breaking of the limits then no one will need to worry about that. Since I have methods to do that. Many different ways as a matter of fact. So allow me to try and save this idiot."
"If you can, then go ahead."
"I'd rather practice since I think there is an inked Giant Spirit God in the Ancestral land."
Yang Rai's comment terrified the Elders to their utter core. While he tried a few different methods. One of these methods was just to move his Ink Force out of his body and replace it with the Purest of World Force. This was what ended up working. Yang Rais World Force was so pure it neutralized a far greater amount of Ink Force. To further speed this up he decided to use an empty StarField orb. He forced next to all of the Ink Force, out of Shi Zheng. Yang Rais pure World Force quickly neutralized the rest of it.
"Hey idiot. Are you back to your senses?"
"Huh? How? What!? You purified the Ink Force?"
"More like I removed it. I'm not strong enough to purify it. Tell me do you feel any discomfort?"
"Just the injuries from our very quick fight. Your punches hurt like hell."
"Ahahaha, I'm strong, I know this already. I'm honestly surprised that this happened."
"Congratulations Yang rai. With that little thing you did just now could change the tide of war."
"You honor me Elder Hong. I simply took control of that disgusting power for a moment and moved it around. As for all of you, before this goes any further…"
