He had many decades to consolidate and become accustomed to his new realm and had expanded his energy pool drastically larger than what he had before. It barely served as a warm up exercise for him. Having warmed up he was easily able to suppress the remaining masterminds. However since it was a fifth Rank Open Heaven Yang Rai had used up a drastically large amount of energy to face him down. It had some unexpected benefits. Yang Rai discovered that he would need to absorb the element forces in order to increase his glyphs.
There was another sect that came to attack the black feather but it was easily dealt with when they returned to Void Land. Even though there was some attempt by the Flying Flower boat, a 6th Rank open heaven realm Yue He quickly resolved this issue. Yang Rai, after greeting Yue He realized for the first time in a while that there was an existence in front of him right now, he would not be able to compete with. It was the perfect person for him to meet since having someone like this made it easier to see just where the limits of strength were.
"Yang Kai, who is this Young man you have with you?"

"Yang Rai greets the protector."
