Some hours later…
"I hate getting wet… fucking hell." Zenon slowly let his body slide down the wall, eventually sitting on the flooded ground.
The water was high enough to completely cover him up to his knees. Sadly, this was the only safe cave Leviathan found that was high away from the spider's path.
Aurea did the same, the only difference was that she completely lied down while taking deep breaths.
"Never thought I would say this… but I really want to get out of here." She muttered in between breaths.
Even though they'd been inside The Nest - as Aurea called it - for less than six hours, the amount of pressure they felt wasn't comparable to anything they'd experienced before.
Just before reaching the cave they had to run as fast as they could since Phoenix alerted them of the gigantic tarantula getting closer to them. Just recalling Aurea's expression made Zenon shiver.
