I sacrificed everything to be immortal and too late did I realize True immortality is something no one wants as I watched my siblings and family fade into dust. I slowly regained the powers I used to have but now my heart was empty I avoided contact with all. I look around the small house I built for myself in the woods that has 6 rooms. 3 of the rooms are for Alchemy, Forging, and Formation materials. I simply go into the forging room starting up the fire and continue forging the sword I had been working on for the last 10,000 years. The blade has been tempered with mythra and Corna the two rarest materials one comes from a tree so resistant to burning it will melt instead at certain temperatures.
-
The other is a metal so rare they put the word myth into the name. I pick the still blazing hot blade and plunge it into my heart the blade boiling the flesh surrounding my heart as it rapidly repairs. I can still feel the pain but this pain is nothing to the void within myself. I look around the room sighing as the blade which I name Immortis Mortem otherwise called Immortal's Death. The name has been carved upon the blade in runes which glow quite often whenever I hold it and it tries to kill me.
-
I walk out of the room and into the forest clearing right outside of my house looking at the stars hoping and wishing that one day I could die. I than use lifespan reaping magic to try and make myself age to death but the spell just continues to grow never stopping because after all I have infinite lifespan and vitality meaning I can't die. I can't even control my regeneration.
-
The spell continues to grow creating magic particles out of my endless vitality I then end the spell allowing the magic energy to spread out to replenish the world itself. Humans have begun to devour so much mana the energy level is lowering but if that were to happen, I would no longer be able to create a weapon to kill myself.
-
I than began to condense the lifespan I was able to wield into a creature called a dragon that once existed but was now extinct. I formed the delicate leathery wings hardened by magic and reinforced with wind mana to make flight possible the bones are hollow but stronger than most metals. I infuse the mana of the ages into the scales creating scales that are colored with every element making it like a chameleon.
-
I formed the throat making it resistant to every element even the rare space and time elements its throat now much more resistant to spells it could probably devour them so I reinforced the organs to be able to handle much more taxing materials and be able to still devour them. I smile as I make the reproductive organ able to mate with any creature and dominate most of their genes to create a slightly diluted version of itself.
-
Th whole body I then infused enough of my vitality for its lifespan to last millions of years without any decay in combat abilities. Its eyes then began to open and with its instincts that I had created it lunges away feeling fear at the amount of mana and vitality I had. I beckon with my hand and the small dog sized dragon comes toward me sensing I don't wish to hurt it. I pet its scales which cannot harm me but are so sharp any other person petting this thing would die.
-
I then began to implant knowledge in it of every single spell I ever created including the Inheritance spell which will allow any of its progeny to use spells that fit them that it knows the inheritance spell also teaches them how to get stronger in other ways than simply ageing. I then began making my next product a tree that creates pure magic energy the tree known as Yggdrasil from another world.
-
I forgot to say I come from a world where there was only technology I was reincarnated here after I died at 10 years old, so this world was the only one I truly knew along with many children's stories of magical creatures. I loved my family and I only wish my magic could have saved them or that the vitality I have within me could be used for extending others lifespans but sadly it can only be used for creation or spells.
-
Yggdrasil was a small sapling the size of a skyscraper when I began to create it and its fruits would turn into the elves who will guard the tree with their life for it is their God. I infused all elements into Yggdrasil so it could create its own world and passed on my knowledge of creating life and how to teach others how to create spells. The tree would constantly send out mental signals always wanting to learn from me like a child so instead of spending most of my time enhancing Immortis Mortem I was teaching both my new children.
-
I decided to name the baby dragon that was rapidly growing and now the size of a house after a mere week Tiamat like the dragon from D&D that my parents would talk about, I think it was the god of dragons. Tiamat would constantly play with trying to roughhouse with me knowing it could never harm me but Tiamat would avoid me if I carried Immortis Mortem so I asked "Why do you fear this simple dagger with runes carved upon its surface."
-
Tiamat responded "It wants Me and Yggdrasil dead it constantly threatens me and says 'anyone who wields me could kill you with a simple scratch Afterall The Father spent 9,000 years that I remember constantly tempering me so that I could kill him The Immortal sadly I cannot accomplish what I was created for but you and Yggdrasil are semi-immortals so if I kill you I will be halfway to my creators wish. Maybe when your blood stains me I could grow to kill Him."
-
"The blade has never spoken to me, but I believe you I guess I should teach my blade how to temper and strengthen itself so that it can kill me even though my emotion of depression has waned and began to fade into joy I guess I just needed to take care of some children once again to reexperience hope and love but still I fear for the day when they die." I contemplate mummering under my breath.
-
I than realize I need to create a way for both to extend their lifespans before they die so I began to research the elixir I made and how it came into existence, but my efforts prove FUTILE. The Nine Morning Star flower I had been growing have disappeared same for all the ingredients for the Immortality potion it's as if the world itself erased the ingredients so that it would never happen again.
