Erick's consciousness came and went, teetering between life and death.
His senses were nothing more than a blur, showing bubbles of air and the dark, black immensity of the ocean below him.
Strange figures moving beneath him, in that rhythmic and frightening dance of the unknown.
He felt his body so light, sinking and sinking, more and more, towards the icy embrace of a death that, if anything, seemed... relieving.
Relieving.
But why?
Everything seemed so confused in Erick's mind.
His thoughts were nothing but a whirlpool that drifted further and further away from logic and recognition.
With every millimeter he descended, it was as if everything he knew was disappearing.
Further and further away from what that young man was capable of understanding.
Seconds passed slowly, seeming to become minutes and hours.
Until he felt something pulling him back.
