Devon began to cross the yard in anger, as he walked over to Olivia's side.
"I told you not to let her come out here!" Devon said, glaring at the guard who was supposed to be keeping an eye on Olivia.
"I tried to keep her inside, but she wouldn't stay still, and you would..." The guard began to say, but his voice trailed off when he saw Devon's eyes harden. "I am sorry, master." He said, bowing his head down.
Devon turned to Olivia, who was still waiting for an answer to her question. He took her by the arm and began to drag her back into the mansion, but Olivia resisted, and in a moment, Marcus had caught up with them. He took Olivia's other arm and held her back. Devon turned around and when he saw that it was Marcus holding Olivia back, he glared at him.
"Let her go!" He demanded.
"I think it is you who should let go." Marcus retorted.
