To the person reading this, nice to meet you! I'm Jasoy Alano, the author of this story. Currently, the story is on hiatus due to my heavy workload from school, preventing me from writing even a single sentence.
If you've already read the entire novel or skipped ahead, let me clarify that "The Cruel World" is not a cheerful book. I don't hate the world, it's quite the mystery on why I wrote this type of story to be honest, I have a lot of questions inside my head and I would just answer it in a way of writing—writing has always been my escape towards reality maybe this is what I feel towards the world or maybe not—even I am confused xD. I would ask myself, over the years did I really felt happy? Or was it a lie to hide everything and did I ever truly live? I don't know either. But anyways, after I finish this novel I'm planning on finishing my other stories, the other one is fantasy and the other one is drama/romance. As for the publication date of this novel, I remain hopeful it will be in the near future.
Now, onto the afterword, although I must admit I don't have much to say here. Thus, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude:
Firstly, thank you to my friends who provided their thoughts on the story and helped me refine it including you the reader. Special thanks to my auntie, who assisted in constructing some impactful combination of words. And lastly, a heartfelt thank you to you, the one reading this.
