Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 It's not bad being a witch

Wynne was full of sympathy for the poor couple, she requested them out and tried if she could handle the strange monster.

After all, Dooley was on her belly and depended on her to support. He would at least help when he saw her in danger. "Thank you, thank you very much!" The couple went out with tears in their eyes. Wynne looked again at the monster lying on the bed and restrained herself of fear and disgust, put the whistle to her lips, and blew on it.

"Pyrpyrpyr... " Came out of this whistle in her mouth.

The monster, who had been staring at her so harsh a moment ago, suddenly, as if stimulated by the sound, rolled and writhed in agony on the bed!

It was unbelievable that the whistle worked! Just as Wynne was feeling pleased, the worm child in the bed was looking everywhere for the source of the sound, and when he saw her, his whole body came at her in an instant!

"Ah!" She screamed in horror and ran to the side. Missed her at first pounce, the creature immediately swam to her for the second.

Looking at the ferocious creature was closer and closer to her, Wynne was afraid to the extreme, she quickly continued to retreat until a voice from her ears again sounded: "Stop to blow whistle!" Dooley's voice waked her up, she picked up the whistle in panic, and blew it up within an inch of the huge strange monster.

"Pyrpyrpyr... Pippi... " Sure enough, when Wynne blew the whistle again, it suddenly stopped moving forward and banged its head against the ground with a ferocious look on its face, and rolled on the ground as hard as it could. Although it kept trying to attack her, the sound of the whistle seemed to stir in its head, making it too painful to care about her at all. In the sound of the whistle, the folds of the creature began to fall away, revealing the child's original human skin. Seeing this, Wynne breathed a sigh of relief and kept blowing her whistle.

After ten minutes or so, all the worm skin on the child's body was gone, and a normal child of seven or eight years old appeared in front of her, his eyes were closed as if he were sleeping. Just then, a moving worm, red all over the size of an egg, crawled out of the child's mouth to the ground beside him and turned into a black pool of blood.

"What is it?" Wynne asked Dooley.

"Driller, also known as leech." He replied.

"A leech spirit?" At the mention of the name, she felt a chill in her heart, such a disgusting thing, no wonder Dooley himself did not come forward.

"Absolutely. I think the kid got it in swimming. It's usually used to get back at someone. If it is not removed within ten days, it will suck up the blood of the person. Even if he goes to the hospital, the doctor can't find the cause. Then, God can't save him. How big of a vendetta does that have to be, to go after a kid that young?" Dooley sighed.

Wynne opened the door walking out and told the couple that the spirit had been removed and the child would be fine if he had two more days to rest. Hearing this, the woman rushed into the house in surprise, holding the child on the ground and crying. The man stood in front of her speechless with excitement, then turned back into the room as if thinking of something. When he came out, he came up to her with some money in his hand and shoved it all into her hand.

"Miss Morr, this money is my family's thanks to you. If it wasn't you, I'm afraid my baby wouldn't live long!" Said the man, earnestly. For such thickness of the money, there must be ten thousand around, may be really all the savings of this family, if she took all of them, the family didn't live well in the future.

Wynne took a few out of the wad of money and returned the left to the man. Then said, "Mr. Pua, I'll just take some of the meal and the car fare. You can keep the left for your children's education."

When the man heard what she said, he was even more moved and invited her for dinner.

But it was already dark and too late to be safe to drive, so Wynne declined the offer.

On the way home, watching the scenery out of the window gradually flooded into the night, thinking of the way the couple thanked her just now, she suddenly had a sense of satisfaction in her heart, feeling as if she became valuable in this world, feeling the meaning of her coming to this world. It's not bad being a witch.
