His proficiency with the bell reminded Wynne of different eyeballs boy, and suddenly she enlighted! "You must be the cat spirit Jade!"
Gane laughed and shook his bell ringing, and gave her a soulful stare, "Whoever has my bell is my master."
It was him! The cat spirit Jade was really lively, disliked quiet countryside, came to the city, changed a name, turned into a rich kid, and having fun everywhere. George's grandma was so sweet since Wynne had thought she just gave her the bell for the cat spirit to recognize her, but she just gave the cat spirit to Wynne!
"Okay, my master, I will do anything you wish." Gane rang the bell and smiled at her.
Gane was much softer than Dooley's and should be easier to get along, which was a pleasant surprise. So Wynne asked, "Can you help me with Doo... "
Before the words were finished, her throat was pinched by an invisible force, and she could no longer make a sound.
"Eh?" questioned Gane, there was a hint of confusion on his face.
"Can you help me with Do... " The left words still stucked in her throat when Wynne said it again, did Dooley, inside her, control her from saying his name?
"Hasn't my master decided yet? You can let me know when you're ready. I'll always be there for you." Gane was patient for her pause, still with smile on his face, rising lazily from her lap and handing her over the bell. As he turned to walk away, he put his hand around her neck and spoke softly,"by the way, I forgot to present my new master."
Oh, my God, what kind of fairy cat spirit was this! And for his owner, there's a present?
As she was happily preparing to receive the gift, Gane's face suddenly leaned in front of her and covered her lips with a moist softness. A soft kiss, sealed on her lips. Was this the greeting gift?
Wynne widened her eyes at Gane in surprise, while Gane stared lovingly at her, with pieces twinkling of stars in his eyes. "My sweet master, this is my first kiss. Please take good care of me." With that, Gane turned into a elegant white cat and jumped out of the window in front of her surprised eyes.
"It seemed that not every spirit was as rude and reckless as Dooley's." Mumbled Wynne.
It was a while before she remembered that George was still at the club. She called him several times but no one answered. Maybe he was too high to hear her. Wynne had to go home alone.
Just opened the door, the darkness inside was slightly lit by the misty moonlight outside. Wynne was about to turn on the light when she tripped over something and lost her balance falling hard to the ground. Forehead and nose were banged to the ground, and the pain of her nose sore, made physiological tears stream down, she raised her head and was came over her view, a thick black snake tail in the faint light constantly swinging on the ground, Dooley was cold face, sitting in a chair not far from her. At this point, Dooley's whole person revealed an aura of "dare to provoke me, you were looking for death," calmed her up, and prevented her from any question about it.
She got up slowly, her voice shaking. "W...when did you get back?"
"Hum." From the darkness came a contemptuous sneer of Dooley, who raised his hand to a drooping strand of hair from his ear and replied coldly, "The moment you returned, i did." His repressive and cold respond caused Wynne feeling very bad and fearful. She dared not make another sound.
"Come here!" He snapped at her!
"Wh..., what?" She stammered, wondering how possible she can escape.
Suddenly her waist tightened, a huge snake tail wrapped around, violently swept her up, suspended her whole body in the air before him!
"Want to run? Want to get the damn cat drive me away?"
In the dim moonlight, Dooley's expression was vicious. His snake tail tightened her more and more, as if he would cut her to pieces, if she nodded yes at this time!
Wynne froze to close her eyes and breathed less.
"I tell you, it's over your dead body to let me go!" With this roar, Dooley slammed her to the ground!
"Click" the sound of a bone snapping out of place from her body grimaced her in pain, and Dooley, the pupils of his eyes, had narrowed to a thin line, dangerous and terrifying. He was so out of control that wynne was scared and she glanced the still open door. But next second Dooley flicked his tail against the door and slammed it shut with a bang.
The whole room was plunged into darkness.
