Chapter 29 - 28. DON'T LIE TO ME

Cyril said sarcastically, "This is my private island. Nobody has the right to visit it except me." "Speak!" He pinched her chin, forced her to look at him, and found that her eyes were quite swollen.

"No, I have said that I will stay here and have children, and will not escape."

"But your expression already shows that you are disappointed and sad?" He looked at her with a strong banter.

Thera could't speak. Sad? Was she really so sad?

She tried to suppress her feelings. She could still feel disappointed, which meant she still had hope for Simon!

She despised herself. If she saw Simon, she would never show that she missed him!

"Miss, your shoes." The servant took the shoes and whispered a reminder.

Cyril was very dissatisfied: "You are so anxious that you forgot to wear your shoes. Do you really want to escape?"

Thera didn't dare to look at him. In order to hide her guilt, she deliberately raised her voice: "I said, I didn't want to escape!"

"Don't tell me, you rush out to enjoy the scenery!"

Thera said nothing, took the shoes from servant and put them on her feet, then turned to go back to the villa.

Suddenly her arm was grasped by him, and it was very painful. He was disappointed and angry at her indifference and irrationality. Nobody dared to ignore him like this.

Thera frowned and said, "What are you doing?" "Since you want to escape, why don't you call for help?"

Thera had long known that he was unreliable: "How do you know I didn't call for help? You monitored my mobile phone, didn't you?" Sure enough, she knew that the mobile phone was unsafe and that it had a function of monitoring calls.

She had never called, and was also afraid that her actions would be known by him.

"It's not that you don't want to escape, but you are afraid of being known by me?" Cyril saw through her mind. "You really want to escape?"

"I didn't! I said I didn't! I've never seen a yacht before. Can't I come out and have a look?" "Never seen a yacht?" "Many people in the world have never seen a yacht, and not everyone is as rich as you!"

Cyril didn't show any more expression, just looked at her calmly, and didn't know whether he believed the reason or not, but he didn't continue to ask. Because no matter what he asked again, there would be no result.

He did't have any conclusive evidence to prove that she wanted to escape. So far, all he had was his guess, so Thera had no reason to be afraid of what he said.

"Tell me, why are you crying?" He changed the subject.

"Homesick."

"Even so, why not contact your families?"

"You are afraid that I will know your home phone number, and that I will find out your background and know who you are," He blurted out her concerns.

She was surprised that he could see through her thoughts and didn't know what to say for a moment.

"Tina is also a fake name." He had already investigated that the winner of this competition was not Thera. No one knew who put her into the reception room of Norman Manor in a daze and was mistaken for a surrogate mother to send her to the island.

Norman Manor was heavily guarded, and even flies could't fly in. How could she avoid everyone's eyes and appeared directly in the reception room. But the fact was that no one knew how she appeared, and just before the real surrogate mother sent to Norman Manor.

It was obvious that someone was operating all this, but why and for what purpose? Cyril was still investigating.

"Do you think you can act secretly under my supervision?" he stared at her proudly. "Nothing in the world can hide from me."
