“Go home Sarah, get some sleep and Ill ring you as soon as I have the results.”
“You’re suspending me?” tears sprang to her eyes.
“No, maybe I should though, you ran a raft of tests without authorisation, but no, I’m saying go and get some sleep and make sure you come in sober tomorrow, I can smell the alcohol from here. Did you send your report to anyone else?”
“No of course not, why would I? I can hardly believe it myself, you know we are talking werewolves or something, some weird hybrid of human....”
“We should keep it to ourselves until we’re sure ok?” Pete interrupted.
Sarah stood up nodding, “Ok.” she breathed just glad to be going home, see you tomorrow.”
