"Hey"! Gabby heard Nina say behind her and she turned gently towards her with a smile on her face
"Hi"! Gabby replied smiling at her
"I've been looking all over for you" she said
"I was here all along" Gabby said and made space for her to sit next to her
"why are you always alone at the game house"? Nina asked looking around
"Uhm... I'm never a lone at the game house" Gabby replied reluctantly
"Chris told me he found you at the game house all by yourself the other day" Nina said looking at Gabby
"Well ehh...I just wanted to be left alone" Gabby said calmly
"I can tell you're lying Gabby" Nina sighed and continued "I know you miss him a lot and it's fine for you to hide your feelings okay? but for now you don't need to worry much and hope he gets back to his senses or better still move on" she Said and shrugged
"Nina do you think it's best for me to keep Jason's Identity a secret" Gabby asked
"off course it's the best thing to do Gabby" Nina said patting Gabby's back
"what about Gabriel? how do you think he feels seeing Jason and I together?, don't you think he's hurting"? Gabby asked looking at an empty space
"that's why he should've trusted you in the first place and if this is going to make him regret not trusting you then that's the perfect thing to do alright, just try and not worry too much about him" Nina said holding unto Gabby's palms together in her's
"I don't know why but for some weird reason I feel nervous about this whole thing" Gabby complained and sighed deeply
"Come on it's fine trust me, Jason, Christian and I got your back always and we've got this to deal with, we're going to make him come back to you no matter what" Nina said looking into Gabby's eyes and she nodded with a slight smile

It was weekend and Gabby was alone at home doing nothing but buried in her own thought as she laid on the bed, not long after the door bell rang and she reluctantly went to get it thinking Jason came to visit but to her surprise it was Mrs Morris guards from before
"Sorry for the unexpected visit Ms Gabby but we were sent by Madame and she has asked us to give you this, please go through it and send your reply straight to her, have a good day" he said handed me a small envelope which was wrapped in a luxury style bowed slightly and left while I shut the door and walked back to my room and immediately tore it open and to my surprise it was a letter which says
"I know you accepted my son not because of who he is but because you loved and cared about him but unfortunately he turned out to be what you probably had hoped the "perfect" boyfriend would be. I myself still sometimes struggle with being so zen about his imperfections.I know you most likely wished at times he had been more emotional. More aware of your moods, likes, and dislikes and aware of the things you're capable of doing and not capable of but if you give me a chance I can help make things right but the ball would be in your court to play. I already booked a summer camping vacation for every students in "Ray lake" and I'm sure you know why I'm doing this so please do your best and bring my son back to normal, I'm counting on you cause I believe you're the perfect one for him". The letter said and at the end was "Mrs Liliana Morris", written broadly, Gabby sighed as tears tickled down her cheeks but just then Jason walked into her room and I froze for a second
"Hey! wait! were you crying" he said closely looking at her face, he walked towards her room window and looked out to know if someone broke in cause the door was left unlocked though it was shut, he examined the room properly and everything was in good condition, he sat down quietly on the bed beside her with some stuffs in a bag which he carried along
"No I wasn't crying but how on earth did you get in here" Gabby asked gazing at him as she wiped off the trace of tears on her cheeks
"I'm part of the family remember? can't I have my own keys as well"? he asked scoffing
"off course you're part of the family but how did you get the keys? I mean did you steal them cause no one told me you have your own keys already" she said pointing at his face
"Steal"? "that's lame of you to think but dad gave them to me" he said unpacking what's inside the bag he was holding
"is mom aware of this"? Gabby asked
"off course she is" he replied
"I see they always make things about you hidden" Gabby said looking out the window
"maybe that's how it's supposed to be and you're really sure you weren't crying when I got in,though I had them with me but I met the door unlocked, I thought someone broke in and mean you look pale and your face seems swollen" he said peering at Gabby's face
"really"? Gabby asked trying to look at the mirror
"what's this" he asked taking the letter from the bed and glanced through it while Gabby just sat on the bed silently looking at him, she wanted to grab the letter from him but stopped as she thought he was her only brother and she could not afford to hide anything from him
"does she know about you two"? he asked and Gabby nodded "how come you never told me"? he asked glaring at her
"same way you never told me you and Mari..."
"come on we ain't together anymore and I can't be with her not when she hurts my only sister" Jason said cutting her short of words
"Then why is she picking on me"? Gabby asked angrily as she glared at him
"what?! why would she do that when we're not together anymore"? Jason asked looking at her face
"she probably thinks we're seeing each other" Gabby replied
"That's ridiculous"! he exclaimed with his hands on his waist and just then the door bell rang, Gabby quickly went to get the door and returned back to the room with Nina and Chris
"what are you guys doing here" Jason asked in surprise
"I called them so relax your nerves mister" she said while Jason and Chris kept glaring at each other's face at a time without a word while Gabby handed the letter to Nina who beckoned on Chris to see it with her
"what"? Chris screamed
"Mrs Morris knew"?! Nina asked looking at Gabby who shrugged rolling her eyes
"you never told us" Chris said in surprise
"I just found out some days back and I was going to tell you guys before this" Gabby said looking at the letter as she pointed at it
"what do we do now"? Nina asked
"I think I should let him know the truth" Gabby said reluctantly
"Of course not Gabby" Nina screamed
"you ain't telling him any damn shit okay" Jason who hadn't spoken for a while said
"If Gabriel wants a game then you should give him one" Chris said looking at Gabby
"I can't do it alone guys" Gabby said and sighed
"off course you're not doing it alone, we're all in this together" Nina said rubbing my hands
"I'm confused, just so confused right now and I don't know what to do" Gabby said raising her hands above her head as she sighed
"we've got your back Gabby all you have to do is play your part well and continue acting as Jason's girlfriend and..."
"until we get Gabriel to apologize" Nina said cutting Chris short
"we need a plan for that to happen" Jason said
"leave that to me guys,I will handle it" Chris said and smiled
"I'm sure that soon enough she would be announcing this vacation to everyone in Ray lake and we need to be pretty fast in making a plan cause summer is around the corner" Gabby said
"I'm surprised she isn't mad that you're in a relationship with her son" Nina said
"Were" Jason corrected looking at her but Nina ignored him
"wait is that why you got the scholarship despite your status"? Nina asked
"I knew something was fishy when you got a scholarship into "Ray lake" I knew she was up to something" Chris said looking at me
"Wait! Did she by any chance asked you to date her son" Jason asked
"Come on guys I deserved that scholarship cause I worked really hard for it and I would have been sad if someone else got it instead" Gabby said sulking
"No I really think she asked you to date Gabriel for real"! Jason said and and they started giggling while Gabby watched them with a smile on my face.
The next day as expected the summer vacation announcement was made and everyone was extremely happy.
Later on Gabby was at the game house with Jason who made her change into a different uniform cause he was teaching her how to play golf, though she thought it to be a very tiring and boring game but as time went on Gabby started to develop interests for the game
"Hey I'm going to use the rest room for a while so don't miss me too much okay" he said smiling and Gabby chuckled
"I won't do that" she said giggling
"really"? " you ain't gonna miss me"? he asked causing her to laugh out loud
"Off course I will,go on and don't get yourself messed up" Gabby said and he smiled blowing a kiss towards her while walking towards the exit door. Gabby turned to play the game by herself but the queen bee arrived
"I see you are really adamant huh"? she asked
"towards what" Gabby asked not even looking at her
"I don't need to explain myself to you bitch, well anyways you can have him to yourself for the main time cause I'm sure that a wretch like you won't be going to the vacation with the classical" Marina scoffed and Gabby lifted her face and turned to look at her her
"Classical"? Gabby asked as a soft chuckle escaped her lips
"you think that's funny"? Marina asked glaring at Gabby
"Ohh my gosh I guess you're not aware" Gabby said laughing real hard to get her upset
"Aware of what"? Marina asked folding her hands across her breast
"Ohh dear I don't know what to say to you at this moment" Gabby said sarcastically while smiling broadly at Marina
"Get to it and stop beating around" Marina yelled
"There's no need telling you just await my arrival at the vacation" Gabby said with a straight face as she sighed lightly
"you're a joker,who would probably take you there? or who's ready to waste money on a bitch like you, oh I've spoken to much have fun while it lasts cause this your last day with Jason and I will make sure to win him back during the vacation that you would be forgotten for good" Marina said and turned to leave
"Let's see then" Gabby said and scoffed hitting the golf ball in anger causing it to hit Marina at the back of her head
"ouch"!! Marina cried out in pain as she held the back of her head, she felt some warm liquid on her palms, and she quickly looked at it, she breathed heavily on seeing the blood in her hands, "blood"?! she yelled angrily as she glared at Gabby with hatred in her eyes
"oops"! Gabby gasped and held her mouth with both hands "I'm sorry but it was an accident" she said smiling faintly 'does it hurt much"? she asked walking towards Marina who just stood and glared at her in disdain "I suggest you go to the school clinic before it turns to something worse" Gabby said shrugging, Marina glared at her for a while and then stormed out in rage, Jason walked in and saw a figure quickly leaving the game house, he recognized the person, so he quickly looked towards his sister's direction, but instead of being moody, he saw her smiling faintly to herself in satisfaction
"Did you miss me"? he asked and Gabby nodded with a slight smile displayed on her face
"Are you Okay"? he asked
"Yeah I'm fine" Gabby replied picking up a golf ball
"I just saw Marina leaving,did she by any chance say something mean to you"? Jason asked again
"Off course not,she didn't get a chance" she replied
"She definitely said something" he said
"Yeah but it's fine, I handled it just fine" Gabby replied
"Really"? he asked
"Yeah, are you going to teach me how to play or you want to keep asking questions"? Gabby asked looking at him and he smiled taking the ball from her hand
",I'm gonna keep teaching you" Jason replied smiling at her
*Marina's Pov*
Marina was pacing around the room after leaving the clinic while Erica and Mercy watched her with close attention but she didn't say a word rather she boiled within in anger
"Hey! are you going to tell us what's wrong or keep pacing about like a child, besides what happened to your head"? Erica asked looking at her with concern
"Erica is right Marina, you need to tell us what's going on,why are you looking so upset and why you've got a bandage around your head"? Mercy asked
"She's got the nerves and audacity" Marina said angrily
"what are you talking about"? Erica asked rolling her eyes
"She's got some nerves" Marina said again in anger as she glared at Erica
"don't tell me you're upset cause of that snitch"? Mercy asked looking at Marina's face
"Yes!yes!yes! I am upset because of her and you won't believe it I feel like I've lost Jason for good and as if that wasn't enough, she used the golf ball on my head" Marina said angrily as she vigorously sat down
"What do you mean, can you be more clear"? Mercy asked
"Jason was teaching her golf at the game house and I approached her after Jason left, we had a little argument and as I turned to leave, she fucking hit my head with the golf ball" Marina said angrily
"What"?!! Mercy and Erica asked in unison with a shock expression on their face
"Yes I'm damn serious and I'm really pained cause I once asked Jason to teach me golf but he declined saying it was meant for guys alone to play and now I'm not just hurt that he was teaching her but she got the nerves to get me injured" Marina said breathing hard
"oh my gosh"! Erica exclaimed "I never thought Gabby could hurt a fly, she doesn't seem that bad, besides hitting you with the ball might have been a mistake" Erica said calmly as she didn't believe Gabby would have the guts to hurt anyone
"what do you mean"? Marina asked glaring at her
"I think so because, you and Jason didn't really seem to be so serious with each other and all of that, above all it seemed like one sided love, if he's teaching Gabby right now, it's obvious he really likes her, besides she's just learning,so it's possible she might have mistakenly hit your head with the ball " Erica said looking at Marina's face, though she was among the bees but she was different with a gold heart
"And I almost had him before she casted her spell on him and now she's doing everything possible to hurt me" Marina said
"Actually why is Jason here, cause from my research I learned he was done with high school but why's he here"? Mercy asked
"I don't know" Marina replied
"And come to think of it, Jason joined after Gabriella won the scholarship" Erica chipped in
"Yes you're right I'm definitely sure something is fishy about those two" Mercy said "He never looked Marina's way since then unlike when he wasn't among Ray's student" she added
"Possibly because there was nothing serious between them" Erica said
"Shut up already"! Marina screamed "You two just be quiet and you wanna know why Jason got into this school" she said and paused taking a deep breath "he's among us today because I asked him to and he's in 'RAY LAKE' now because of me, because I wanted him by my side and all that snitch is doing is trying to deceive him into her web but I'm not going to allow it, I will teach her a huge lesson and make her pay for the injury she has caused me" Marina said angrily as she boiled within
"you never told us that Jason was here because of you" Mercy said looking at her
"yeah you never told us and how are we supposed to know if you didn't tell us" Erica said "We're sorry we didn't mean to hurt you" Erica added but Jason walked in at that moment and grabbed Marina's hand to a corner
"Let go off me Jason" Marina yelled
"what did you say to Gabriella"? Jason asked looking really annoyed
"what are you talking about"? Marina asked rubbing her wrist
"I saw you and Gabby together a while ago, she wouldn't tell me what you guys talked about but she's not in a good mood anymore" Jason said
"what have that got to do with me, huh? can't you see I'm the victim here? can't you see she got me injured"? Marina asked glaring at him
"I don't care and I know how much you hate Gabby and you're willing to do anything to see her unhappy but I'm warning you to stay away from her and stop making it seems like we share something together and if Gabby hurt you then she must have a reason for it, she's not cold hearted" Jason yelled angrily glaring at her
"what?! what has gotten into you Jason"? Marina asked with tears welling up in her eyes
"This is my last warning to you concerning Gabriella, you better stay away from her or else I will make your life a living hell" Jason warned in a cold voice, despite how rich Marina's family was, they're no match for the Jason's family as they were very powerful and cold in dealing with anyone who messes with them, Marina was hurt by his words that she cried
"why? why are you doing this to me Jason, I mean look at her she's not our class nor does she fit to step into where we step our foot in so please come back to your senses and snap out of the spell she's using on you Jason please, just throw her out of your life cause she has no meaning to it" Marina pleaded with tears streaming down her face this time
"I don't care what you think about us Marina but Gabby is a more better girl than you are and we're more than just friends so there's nothing you or anyone can do to tear us apart, you better stay away from her" Jason warned and walked out while Marina fell to the floor in tears and her two friends ran to console her
*Chris Pov*
"whoa I'm so happy about this vacation dude"! Chris said throwing some cheese into his mouth
"off course" Gabe said focusing on his video game
"I'm going to spoil Nina a little bit" Chris said
"good for you" Gabe said
"what about you who are you going with this time" Chris asked looking at him
"No one" Gabe replied after a few minutes pause
"Ouch that's lame bro,, the mighty Gabe going on a vacation without a girl"? Chris teased
"I never go with any, they just cluster around me" Gabe said proudly and they both laughed
"I think you should apologize to Gabby, maybe she would agree to go with you if you apologize to her" Chris suggested and Gabe looked at his face and replied
"I can't do that"
"And why not"? Chris asked
"She's happy with someone else" Gabe said dropping the game pad on the table next to him
"this is not the time to think of that Gabe, when you love something then go for it, don't let your pride deprive your happiness" Chris said getting to his feet "I'm out, gotta go with Nina it's lunch already" Chris said and walked out with his pack of cheese
"why isn't he here yet"? Nina asked Chris
"I don't know" Chris said scooping some food into his mouth
"Well he's your best friend at least you should have brought him to eat with us" Nina said
"that would make my girlfriend uncomfortable" Jason said and winked at Gabby who smiled faintly
"Can we not talk about him and eat I'm really famished" Gabby said and they started eating after the lunch Gabby and Jason was in the hall chatting when some group of students approached them
"I must say you both look great together" one of the students said and they smiled
"Yes they are actually perfect for each other" another said
"I'm happy you're with Jason now and not someone who would pick up a fight with you unnecessarily" another said
"he wouldn't even let us come close to you and I wanted to be a friend cause I've been proud of you since you won the scholarship" a guy on glasses said and they all laughed
"I see you guys got bullied because of my best friend here" Jason said putting he's hand across her shoulder "but I want to apologize on her behalf and say that we're sincerely sorry" Jason said and the laughter continued
"Best friend"?! we thought you both are lovers"? one them asked
"wouldn't it have been nice if we're actually lovers"? Jason asked smiling really hard
"yes you both look perfect" another said
"I believe you're right but for some reason we can't actually be lovers now but we plan on being one in the future" Jason said with the laughter going round
"Ohh come on guys Jason and I are more than just lovers but we love each other for real" Gabriella quickly said as soon as she saw Gabriel watching them from a distance Jason who didn't understand what was going on smiled towards her
"what are you doing"? he whispered in her ear
"Nothing! come on let's get out of here I feel uncomfortable right now" Gabby said and pulled him out with a smile on her face
"It's time to go,we will see you all at the vacation okay" Gaby said making way for them to leave.
Meanwhile Marina heard about how Jason and Gabriella was cheered for being lovers and how they've denied it with the claim that they were both best friend, so she wanted to find out, she saw Chris standing by the school lobby and walked towards him with a smile on her face
"Hey Chris"! Marina greeted walking towards him
"Hey! what are you doing here"? Chris asked Marina
"I was curious about a lot of things and I saw you heading out, sorry if I'm disturbing I could have asked Gabe but I can't ask him cause he wouldn't tell me so I came to you instead" Marina said walking beside him
"okay" Chris said nodding he's head
"promise me you're not gonna lie to me" Marina said
"I don't know what you want to ask me at the moment but you can trust me" Chris said with a smile
"Uhm... it's about Jason and
Gabriella, do you have any idea if they are both into a relationship"? Marina asked nervously and Chris went mute
"we just heard a lot of students talking about Jason and Gabby being in a relationship" Mercy chipped
"Off course ehh... the rumor has been on for a while now, but I'm not sure" Chris said rubbing his neck nervously
"Are they together Chris 'Yes or No' that's all I want to know please" Marina pleaded
"I really don't want to say this but "YES" they are in a relationship and Gabriella told me herself, they're just pretending for the students not to pester them so much" Chris said and Marina held her step in shock
"what"?! she asked, staggering backwards she ran out and Mercy ran after her while Chris shrugged as a smile played on his face
*Gabriella's house*
Jason, Nina and Gabby were in her room chatting and laughing when Chris knocked on the door and Gabby went to get it and returned a while later with Chris
"What took you so long"? Nina asked giving him a hug
"Did I keep you guys waiting"? he asked looking at her eyes
"off course and I was worried sick" she sulked
"sorry I took so long, I ran into Marina and I have to play cool and take my time to make her believe you two are really in a relationship" Chris said sitting on the bed with others while Nina sat by him
"You gotta be kidding right"? Jason asked
"I'm not and she believed me when I told her Gabriella told me herself you two share a love bond together" Chris said giggling
"She's really slow witted" Nina cursed and they chuckled except for Jason
"what's wrong buddy you don't seem cool I told her that,is there something going on between you two"? Chris asked
"I doubt that" Nina said
"That doesn't matter for now cause we all have to keep our feelings aside and help me get what I want,only then will handling Marina be a piece of cake" Gabby said rubbing her brother's hand and he smiled with a nod
"I never thought Jason would have anything to do with Marina, I mean no guy wants to be with her in cause of her mean character and she doesn't seem to care" Chris said and Nina glared at him and he went mute
"the vacation will take place in a week time so what plans have we all got"? Nina asked
"during the vacation I think Gabby should spend more time with Jason and if Gabe wants to come any closer shush him away and let's see how he would react to it and Jason you need to always watch Gabby's back cause of Marina,I'm sure she would want you back after what I told her and her target would be to get Gabby out of the picture as for Gabe I will handle him" Chris said and they agreed to it
"Marina thinks I won't be coming for the camping vacation so you guys will leave with them on that day and make sure you convince her I won't be coming when you're sure you've convinced her enough then send a message across to us so Jason and I will arrive when she won't be expecting but you have to make it quick same goes for Gabe and I'm counting on you Chris" Gabby said looking at their faces
"I will be the detective since I and Marina aren't in good terms nor Gabe for now" Nina said and they all nodded looking at Jason who hasn't said a word
"what? why are you guys looking at me like that? I'm the acting boyfriend so don't give me any extra duties so I can play my part well, I'm not an actor you know and I have to make this seem real so stop looking already"!! he yelled and they chuckled over his reaction
"We're all going shopping today, right now" Nina said
"yeah I almost forgot about that" Chris said
"me too" Gabby and Jason said and they both laughed walking out of the house excitedly towards Jason's car Tesla Model S and he drove them off.
Meanwhile Marina was pacing about the sitting room when Gabe walked down the stairs and was heading out the door when she held his hand
"Tell Gabby to stay away from Jason" she said panting slowly
"what is the meaning of this"? Gabe asked looking at her hand on his shirt and she immediately let go and Gabe tried to walk out
"I'm going to hurt her if she doesn't stay away from him" she threatened
"you are the exact reason why we are no longer together and if you want to hurt her then go ahead and do just that cause I don't care" Gabe said glaring at her in anger
"I know you're still in love with her and you can pretend for all I care but watch what I do to her next" Marina said turning around
"If a single strand of hair on her body gets hurt believe me you will live to regret ever having me as a brother" he said and walked out while Marina stood watching him drive out of the house
"you shouldn't talk to your younger brother like that Marina" Mrs Morris said and Marina turned to her
"And why not mom? by the way this is all your fault" Marina screamed
"what are you talking about"? Mrs Morris asked giving Marina a confused look
"You are giving them a chance to grow closer together because of this stupid vacation of yours" Marina said angrily
"I did nothing wrong, this is what Ray's student do each year that passes by so what have I done wrong" she asked sipping from the coffee in her hand
"we never asked for a summer camping vacation" Marina angrily said and dashed to her room while Mrs Morris starred at her direction and sighed deeply
*THE NEXT DAY*
The next day Jason went to his mom's coffee shop and met her alone doing nothing
"Good morning"!!! he greeted with a broad smile
"You're here so early son and your sister? where is she? Racheal asked
"Gabby is yet to know I'm here but I would like you to come with me for a while I have something important to show you" he said helping her get to her feet
"where are we going this early son"? Racheal asked looking at him with a smile
"you will find out soon enough mom but first you need to come with me" he said pulling her towards his car
"Fine! I will walk on my own" she said and Jason let go off her wrist and quickly opened the car door for her and she walked in, Jason shut the door and drove off after about 25 minutes drive he drove to a halt and he quickly stepped out and opened the car door for his mom to step out "where are we"? Racheal asked looking around
"Come in then you will find out" he said smiling while leading her in
"Surprise"!!!!! a group of people dressed up in the same attire shouted immediately they walked in and Jason started clapping and they all joined
"what's going on son"? Racheal asked in surprise
"Congratulations mom"!! he said happily
"what"?! she asked with tears welling up in her eyes
"This is your new office, this is not just a coffee shop but also a restaurant well registered under your name" Jason said smiling and tears rushed down Racheal's eyes
"Oh my gosh"!!! she exclaimed using her hands to shut her mouth in shock
"This are your staffs so you don't need to do the works here all by yourself" he said smiling looking at her
"My gosh Jas..."
"Shhhhh it's enough mom, has anyone told you you look beautiful when you cry"? he teased and she started laughing wipping her tears away
"You're the best son" she said rubbing his cheeks with her both palms
"I will leave you here, I need to catch up with Gabby cause of our vacation so don't miss me much" he said smiling
"Thank you son, you're the best" Racheal said giving him a hug
"This is the least I could do" he said and pulled away from the hug and left.
Meanwhile back at home Gabby was finding it difficult to pick an outfit when Jason walked in
"what are you doing"? he asked starring at the hip of clothes scattered on the floor
"I don't seem to figure out what to wear" I said sulking
"what do you mean,we don't have much time left" Jason said looking around
"if you had given me a hint about where we are going then I won't be having any trouble looking for something perfect to wear" I complained
"Come on sis, you don't need to be perfect for anyone cause you're perfect just the way you are and don't let anyone change that okay"!! he advised and she nodded "I will help you get something nice to wear, just give me a hand" he offered and they both agreed on a particular dress which made her look gorgeous after she trying it on, Jason ignited the car's engine and drove towards his
"wait we're you bringing me to your house all this while"? she asked looking at him in surprise
"off course, c'mon I have something for you" he said and Gabby nervously walked in with him with an unknown expression on her face
"mom"!!! he called and Mrs Madison his foster mom who was walking down the stairs broadly smiled at him
"yes son"! she replied walking towards him
"you're back so early" she said while Jason pecked her cheeks and she smiled
"off course I told you I was going to surprise you today right"? he asked and she nodded
"well here is my surprise for you mom, meet my lovely younger sister Gabriella and Gabby pls meet my mom, Mrs Madison"
"ohh my gosh Jason"!! Gabby exclaimed happily as she smiled at him, she had always wanted to meet Mrs Madison
"I've always wanted to meet you dr, come here" Mrs Madison said beckoning to her to come closer, Gabby nervously smiled as she walked towards Mrs Madison
