"yeah she isn't getting away with it this time girl, it's really time to teach her a lesson, I mean she's really made a lot of mess for us ever since she got into Ray lake" Mercy said with a grin on her face
"Mercy"?!!! Erica screamed
*Few days later*
Gabriella and Nina was taking pictures for her work, she helped Nina take a lot of pictures of herself in different dresses while Nina took many pictures of her as well, after which they played around the beach happily but as they played an uninvited person arrived
"what in the world is she coming to do here"? Nina asked Gabby who looked around to see Marina walking up to them with a faint smile on her face
"hey"!!! she greeted
"Hi"! Gabby replied not looking her way
"ugh Gabby can I talk to you for a while, please" Marina pleaded and Nina raised her brow in suspicion
"No thanks but we're busy at the moment" Nina said but Gabby held her hand and smiled
"it's alright"! Gabby said to Nina giving her a reassuring smile that all is well "whatever you have to say, must be said in front of my best friend as well" Gabby said looking at Marina who faked a smile and nodded
"Ehm... alright, I don't have a problem with that actually, well ehhh... I know I've been very cruel to you ever since I set my eyes on you but seeing how you didn't report me to Gabriel and Jason for causing your accident the other day, I felt so ashamed of myself and decided to come apologize to you in person and at least say "I'm sorry" please can you forgive me"? Marina pleaded leaving both Nina and Gabby speechless
"ugh... I... I forgive you, I wasn't... ugh upset anyways" Gabby stuttered looking at her in surprise while Nina gave her a pinch
"Really? thank you so much, I couldn't be any happier" Marina said smiling while Gabby smiled faintly "I should get going since you two are busy" she said and Gabby nodded
"what in the world just happened"?? Nina yelled at Gabby who was lost looking at Marina disappear from sight
"I don't know either" Gabby replied and released a sigh
"Well she seemed very suspicious to me so I recorded her" Nina said and Gabby rolled her eyes
"did she just apologize or something"? Gabby asked further in surprise
"let's keep our fingers crossed I'm sure she's up to something" Nina said
Jason's Pov
Jason was heading towards his room with his hands in his pocket, he was with Gabby earlier till she fell asleep, he was bored and decided to go rest in his room while listening to some music but on his way towards his room, he saw Marina by the door, she smiled and waved at him as soon as he approached, Jason tried to ignore her but Marina was persistent, she held unto his doorknob not letting him inside
"What do you want"? Jason asked looking agitated
"I came to see you of course"!!! Marina said to Jason who just starred at her without saying a word
"I don't want to see you okay"! Jason said and made for the doorknob
"c'mon Jason! still avoiding me"? she asked
"what do you want Marina? I just said I don't want to see you and I'm sure I made myself clear when I told you it was over between us"? Jason asked looking at her face with a dim expression on his face, he was annoyed
"you don't have to sound so upset towards me or else Gabriella is going to be very upset that you yelled at her new friend" Marina said chuckling
"what are you talking about"? Jason asked with his eyes widened
"you wanna know? Marina asked and laughed sarcastically "well I will tell you, it's simple, Gabriella and I made peace, I mean we're no longer enemies and I apologized already for giving her a hard time, trust me and you know the amazing part of it"? Marina asked smiling "she accepted my apologies which was the least thing I ever expected from her" Marina said and shrugged
"why should I believe you in the first place"? Jason asked looking at her
"you could ask her yourself if you don't believe me" Marina said
"I don't know what you have up in your sleeve this time but I know it's definitely not good for anyone most especially Gabby and if you do anything crazy to her, then I'm going to make you regret ever knowing me" Jason said pointing a finger at Marina
"Oh please put your finger away! I don't have any ill intention towards her, I've never had, I only never wanted her for my brother but now that I know whom she truly is, I don't have a problem with her being Gabriel's girlfriend anymore, besides my brother loves he..."
"Enough with your crap Marina! now you listen to me and listen real good, I don't want to see even a mud on my little sister's skin, you get me or else"!! Jason warned grabbed his doorknob and cracked it opened, he walked in and slammed the door before Marina who smiled coyly and left.
Things were going absolutely well with the students in Lilies bloom garden, even Gabriella seem to be getting a little bit along well with Marina except for Gabe who now has Mercy flocking around him, the vacation was just two weeks away to the end and he still hasn't realized that Gabby and Jason are siblings. It was weekend and Jason threw a pool party for the get together of everyone before the vacation ends and Gabby made up her mind to tell Gabe herself that all of this was all a game to avoid the regret of loosing him to someone else but when she tried to approach him at the party, she saw Mercy happily chatting with him in an embrace. Gabby was upset, she tried to leave the party but as soon as she turned around to leave, she was pushed right into the pool, everyone close to Gabby knew she could not swim, she's always been afraid of water since she was little, she was scared cause seems no one realized she was pushed into the pool. She was struggling to put her head out in the air to avoid being choked but a hand deepened her head into the water and saying "you must be such a fool to think I would become friends with you in my life" she cursed and deepened Gabby's head into the water, it then dawned on Gabby that an enemy would always be an enemy, struggling with her own breathe, she drowned deeper into the pool. Meanwhile Jason was looking all over for her, he approached Nina but she didn't seem to know where Gabby has gone, soon a voice came screaming loud causing a chaos
"someone is drowning"!!! the voice screamed, Jason heard this and his heart skipped, he ran towards the pool in a panic "Gabriella"??! he screamed, seeing her struggling with her own breathe, he quickly jumped into the water. Christian jumped in as well and helped Jason to carry her out of the pool, everyone ran to the scene including Marina asking what happened, Nina applied the respiration method in panic by using her mouth to breathe in air into Gabby's mouth after pressing her chest for sometime to keep her pulse after sometime Gabby weakly opened her eyes after vomiting out a lot of water, the first person she saw was Nina smiling at her in tears
"why did you get into the pool when you can't swim"?? Nina asked in tears and gave her a hug
"you fool!... I didn't get into the pool by myself, and would never do anything to hurt myself" Gabby said and Nina pulled away from the hug looking at her in surprise but Gabby ignored her surprised look and scanned the crowd with her eyes, Jason held her shoulder as he sniffed in tears
"you scared me to death"! he said as he hugged Gabby's back
"I won't ever leave you and no one can take me away from you either" Gabby said weakly, she looked into the crowd and her eyes met with Marina's, she weakly stood to her feet and slowly walked up to her, Marina smiled pretenciously, she had thought Gabby would never suspect she had a hand in her accident but little did she know she spoke while drowning her in the pool, Gabby was agitated by her smile that she gave her a resounding slap, everyone was stunned, they had thought they were making up after several years of being an enemy to each other
"you're so evil Marina, first of all you pushed me down during the dance and now you tried to kill me by drowning me, what do you think huh"?? Gabby asked angrily, she was weak and so staggered backwards a little, Jason quickly ran up to her and supported her with his hands
"what...?! what are you talking about? we... we're friends right and I would never do anything to hurt you believe me" Marina lied stuttering
"we are not friends; you are despicable Marina!! and I can't be like you nor be friends with you either, you came to me and you apologized about everything you've done to me and I forgave you and the only way you could show your sincerity is by getting me drowned"? Gabby asked as tears formed in her eyes
"what have I done wrong? why are you laying such a despicable accusations on me huh"?! Marina asked pretenciously
"you think getting me out of the picture would give you a place in my brother's life huh? what were you thinking? answer me"!!! Gabby demanded angrily, her outburst stunned everyone except those who already knew, they were speechless and surprised
"what? brother"? Marina asked in surprise
"why? why look so shocked? I told you not to be when the time comes in the future, you despicable thing"? Gabby asked looking at her face in anger "Jason is my biological brother for those of you thinking we're in a relationship, I'm sorry to disappoint you all but he's my brother and would always be, and everything we've been doing was all a game to get someone to his senses and fight for what is his but... but it's useless after all and right now I Gabriella Martins is officially putting an end to this game"!! Gabby said in tears while looking at Gabe who's face was pale from shock, Gabby was weak that she lost consciousness in Jason's arm, he hurriedly rushed her to the hospital and the doctors attended to them.
"Doctor!... how is she doctor"? Jason asked as soon as the doctor stepped out of Gabby's ward
"she is lucky to be brought here on time else her chances of recovering would have been very slim but rest assured she's fine now, all she needs is a little rest" the doctor explained smiling
"Thanks... thank you doctor"! Jason replied and paced around before sitting with Christian and Nina. Gabby regained consciousness the next day, Nina, Chris and Jason were in the ward when she opened her eyes, they slept in the hospital and had refused to return back to lilies's untill Gabby wakes up
"She's awake"!! Nina said happily, and they ran up to her, they helped her sit up
"Where are we"? Gabby asked holding her head as she looked around
"We are at the hospital" Nina replied
"Why are you all wearing a long a face? it's not like I'm dead or something"? Gabby asked as the memories of last night flooded her mind, she smiled faintly
"how did she manage to drown you knowing fully well that you can't swim"? Jason asked worriedly, anyone who saw the look on his face would easily tell how deeply concerned he was towards Gabby
"I don't know what she was thinking but I don't want to stay here anymore not even for a night" gabby said looking at their faces
"but the vacation isn't over yet" Chris said looking at her
"off course I know that but there's nothing to fight for anymore, Gabe is already seeing Mercy and I can't keep ruining people's life for my own selfishness, besides it's not safe here anymore" Gabby complained
"you can't leave, not now, we've come this far, this is not the time to give up" Nina said holding her hand
"let me go, if he really wants me back then he would come for me" Gabby screamed in her head "I'm not giving up dear but I have to face the reality of life and yes if Gabriel is mine, he would come back to me in one piece" Gabby said weakly looking at them, they had to understand,it hasn't been an easy game for them all "Jason please say something" she pleaded holding her brother's hand
"if that's your what's you want, then we should leave right away, I will get the car ready" he said and walked outside with Chris leaving the girls alone
"I don't want you to leave please"! Nina pleaded
"it is best that I leave, please don't try to stop me" Gabby pleaded as well
"we had a plan"Nina reminded, she didn't want Gabriella to leave suddenly because of the incident
"I know and that's why I have to go" Gabby said "I can't stay here anymore, what if they come after you guys because of me? no! no! I can't let that happen, so it's best I leave first so they don't see me yo strike" Gabby said trying to convince Nina to see reasons with her
"how can you leave when we've not archived what we came for, besides the summer vacation isn't over yet"? Nina asked looking at Gabby with a tearful eyes
"Because it's not working out, it's useless, I can't deprive my friends their happiness because of my own selfish desire Nina, try to understand"! Gabby said with her voice a bit high, she was drawn to tears
"your happiness is ours Gabby and we love you dearly no matter what, even if no one else wants to see it in you that you are perfect just the way you are, we all see it, I, Jason, christian... all of us" Nina said smiling faintly in tears
"Thanks you Nina, you've been a very good friend" Gabby thanked giving her a warm hug, just then Jason returned
"the car is ready and Mr Walter is going to be arriving the airport in 30 minutes, so we have to leave now to avoid keeping him, I already took care of the hospital bills" Jason said walking closer to Gabby, to help her out of the bed
"I need my stuffs in the car mister have some respect for a lady" Gabby said and they laughed christian helped carry her stuffs into the car and after the exchange of hugs and kisses they drove off and arrived the airport in about 10 minutes and waited for Mr Walter, their personal pilot, he arrived as soon as possible and they boarded the jet and left.
Gabe ran into the room where Gabby was staying during the vacation and rang the doorbell so many times but no response so he gently pushed the door and it cracked open revealing no one in it, he looked around and discovered her stuffs were all gone, it was as empty as a dead zone, he quickly ran to Jason's room and discovered he's gone too, he ran out in search of Nina or Chris anyone he could find, not quiet long he saw Nina and Chris slowly walking towards him Nina seemed to be in tears while Chris consoled her. Walking closer to them Nina glared at him in tears and angrily walked out leaving him with Chris, she hated the sight of him for being such a clumsy guy
"Where is she? I need to talk to her" Gabe nervously asked christian as his body shoke violently due to the run
"She left" Chris said looking at him
"what? gone where"? Gabe asked stuttering as he tried to catch his breath
"Their flight should be leaving in about 10 minutes" Chris said calmly with his hands in his pocket while Gabe gently pushed him aside and ran into his car and quickly drove off in a high speed. The jet took off immediately Gabe arrived the airport, he quickly got off his car and ran towards the jet but it was already too late, Gabby saw him waving his hand across the jet but could not stop Mr Walter at that moment, all she could do was to let tears in her eyes roll freely down her cheeks. Gabe felt so heartbroken that he cried silently in his car, he went back to the garden and slowly walked into his room and didn't go out for dinner so did Nina, Chris, Marina and her friends, they were all shocked and surprised at Gabby's outburst except for those who knew.
*The next day*
"we need to leave as well" Nina said to Chris very early in the morning
"I know but what about Gabriel"? Chris asked
"And what about him"? Nina asked looking at Chris face
"Don't you think he needs our help after finding out about Gabby and Jason's relationship"? Chris asked calmly
"He's the cause of everything that has happened so far and if he needs our help, he should ask after we must have returned back home, I don't want to see you feeling sorry for his sorry ass" Nina said
"I was going to talk to him" Chris said looking at her face
"You have to after all he's your best friend and you knew without letting him know so it just like you betrayed him" Nina said packing up her stuff "We leave in an hour time so if you want to speak with him, do so now and don't keep me waiting" Nina said giving him a hug and a kiss on his cheek, she didn't want to let her emotions take the better part of her, she watched Chris as he walked out of the room in search of Gabriel, he went to Gabriel's room and found it totally empty which means he left bloom garden without telling anyone, he quickly ran back to Nina's room
"We need to leave right away" Chris said quickly packing Nina's stuffs in her bag
"why so soon? did something happened? thought you wanna have a chat with Gabriel"? Nina asked curiously
"That's the point he already hit the road and we have to leave as well" Chris said grabbing her jacket from the wardrobe
"Oh my gosh"! Nina gasped and Chris pulled her towards his room, picked up his bag and quickly dashed out of the garden, Flagged down a taxi which took them straight to the airport and they boarded the next available flight. Meanwhile Marina is oblivious of what is going on in the garden but not long after the take off of Nina's and Chris's flight that Mercy and Erica ran into Marina's room who seemed lost in thought
"Did something happen? why look so tensed"? she asked looking at their faces
"You seem relaxed despite what's been going on in the garden so far" Erica said
"what's been going on except for the fact that I humiliated my boyfriend sister without knowing"? Marina said sarcastically while rolling her eyes with a sigh
"There's more than that" Mercy quickly said in a tensed voice
"what do you mean"? Marina asked getting up from her bed
"They're all gone" Mercy said
"what do you mean they? what's happening"? Marina asked with her eyes focused on Mercy's face
"Gabriella and Jason left yesterday after the incident while, Nina, Gabriel and Chris left this morning" Erica replied fiddling with her head which was slightly bowed
"what"?! Marina asked bewilderedly and quickly dashed out of her bed and ran into everyone's room that has been mentioned and discovered they were all gone. "we need to leave as well" Marina said to her friends who dropped their head
"we can't just run after them like that without a reasonable plan" Mercy said looking at Marina's face
"what silly plan do we need huh? I ruined my boyfriend sister's life cause of my selfishness and insecurity and now you think I need a plan? to fix what exactly"? Marina asked with her eyes glaring at Mercy like fire
"I think we should pack already" Erica said to clear the tension in the air

Meanwhile on arriving home the previous day Jason pleaded with his foster mom Mrs Madison to help him relocate his parents into a better place to live
"Mom please I need your help right now please"? he pleaded with his mom during dinner
"Son what could be so important that you can't wait for tomorrow to tell me? I mean you barely just returned from your vacation" Mrs Madison said looking at Jason with concern
"Mom I have enough time to rest but right now I need you to help me out please" he pleaded looking at her with expectations in his eyes
"Okay! I will do whatever you ask" she replied smiling at him
"I told you about what transpired between Gabby and Gabe during the vacation, I think a change of environment would be needed for her recovery, so I was thinking if you would let my parents live in villa by the north side of the city" Jason pleaded
"that villa was built by your father for a reason, why give it away all of a sudden"? Mrs Madison asked
"I understand it's sudden but please let me do this, I don't want them in that bird nest anymore, besides I don't want Gabby being harassed by Gabe when I'm away on a business trip"! Jason pleaded, he was really concerned about his sister that he didn't touch food
"Brother! do you have another sister just like me"? Britney Mrs Madison's little daughter asked looking at Jason with puppy eyes
"Of course Britney, you have a beautiful big sister who would always give you a hug any time you wants" Jason said smiling
"yeah!!!! can I meet with her? what does she look like"? Britney asked excitedly as she clapped her palms
"She looks just like you, an oval face, light blue big eyes and a straight nose just like yours" Jason told her as he teased her nose
"Mom? I want to meet with my sister"! Britney requested excitedly
"Your brother would take you to her" Mrs Madison replied with a cute smile on her face, Britney is her only biological child, she had a hard time getting pregnant after married to her husband who died three years ago, Britney who is now eight years of age, is smart, intelligent, cute and lovely just like her mother, she was pampered and spoiled by Jason "well Jason that house has always been yours ever since you got adopted to us, your father had it built in your name, I was going to tell you soon but seems like you already asked, so your free to have your parents live there it's all yours"! Mrs Madison said smiling broadly revealing her white set of teeth, Jason was shocked and happy to receive the news, he had never expected that villa to be he's
"thank you so much mommy, I don't know what I would do without you" Jason said and gave her a warm hug
"where are you going"? she asked Jason who took his car key from the table next to him
"to Gabby's" he replied smiling and walked out, got into his car and quickly drove off to his sister's house. Meanwhile Gabby's mom kept complimenting her as soon as she was dropped off by a driver sent by Jason
"oh my gosh Gabby, you look so great"!! the mom complimented as soon as she stepped into the house
"Thanks mom, why aren't you two at work"? Gabby asked looking at both her mom and dad in surprise
"well your brother texted and told us you two are on your way back, so I had to leave work early enough to come prepare something for you two to eat when you get back" Racheal said touching her cheeks like she always does
"I got back not too long and I thought your brother would be dropping you off"? Mr Smith asked looking at the door
"He's mom was worried about him so he had the driver drop me off" Gabby said walking towards her room
"Take a warm bath and come down for dinner" Racheal said behind her and she nodded. Not long into dinner Jason knocked on the door and walked in
"Good evening mom, dad"! Jason greeted bowing slightly
"Welcome back my boy" Mr Smith said smiling as he scoped some food into Gabby's plate "here ear up" he said smiling
"Thank goodness you came son I was worried sick about you and your sister made me believe you weren't coming today" Racheal said walking him towards the dinning table after giving him a hug, Gabby just starred at him without a word
"what are you doing here"? she asked in a whisper as soon as Jason sat beside her for dinner
"we need to talk outside for a minute" Jason whispered back and Gabby smiled at her parents who were suspiciously looking at them to hide her uneasiness
"Ugh... Mom, Dad there's something Jason and I would like to talk about in private so eat up, we will join you in a bit" Gabby said getting to her feet
"is everything alright"? Racheal asked with concern and Gabby nodded
"Sure everything is fine mom"! Jason replied calmly with a broad smile on his face as he followed Gabby outside to his car
"Is something wrong"? Gabby asked as soon as they stepped out of the house into his car
"No" Jason replied nervously "I was thinking, ugh... how about I have mom and dad come stay at my house while you and I go abroad on a business trip" Jason said stuttering
"what?! are you serious"? Gabby asked starring at him in surprise
"off course, I actually have a house by the north side of the city not so far from their place of work which means mom and dad can actually cope while we are away" Jason said looking at Gabby's face
"where are we going to actually"? Gabby asked smiling at him
"Australia"!! Jason replied and she gasped in surprise
"are you kidding me"? she asked looking at him in surprise
"off course not" Jason replied
"Well then let's hit this thing up" Gabby said smiling excitedly at him
"really"? Jason asked
"hmmmm"!! Gabby replied
"I thought you were gonna be mad that I'm going to have mom, dad and you do things you don't want to do"? Jason asked looking at her in surprise
"you're an idiot, c'mon I need this treat right now" Gabby replied and gave him a light punch. They got back into the house and spoke to their parents about it, they agreed to move, Jason put a call across to Marcus to help him get movers who immediately came over to Gabby's house that night and moved their things to the villa
*THE NEXT DAY*
The next morning, Jason was so tired last night that he didn't return back home, he slept over at the villa, Gabby was arranging her stuffs in her room when she got a call,she stopped what she was doing immediately as soon as she saw the name on the phone screen, it was Nina
"Hey!! sorry I couldn't call when I got home last night I was really tired..."
"I understand but you have to calm down and listen to me okay" Nina said nervously
"is there something wrong at the garden"? Gabby asked getting tensed up
"He left this morning before any of us could realize" Nina said breathing hard
"What"? Gabby asked in panic, she knew Gabriel was returning back to the city because of her, she didn't want to see him, not that she didn't have an explanation but she didn't know how to go about it
"I probably don't know where he's headed right now but I'm sure he's coming for you Gabby". Nina said in an excited tone "Chris and I just booked the next flight home and we should leave anytime soon" Nina said
"I'm not supposed to tell you this right now, it was going to be a surprise actually but in about 10 to 15 minutes I should be on my way to Australia" Gabby said nervously, Jason had received a call last night about his business trip to Australia and as discussed, he's taking Gabby with her
"What"!! ohh my gosh"!! "The plane is about to take off, we talk later okay" Nina said and hung up the call with her shoulder dropping
"Jason"!! Gabby called walked towards him as fast as she could "He's on his way back to the state" Gabby said and Jason quickly turned to look at her
"what?! the vacation isn't over yet"? he said looking at Gabby
"well we left despite the vacation still on and he has every right to leave, remember"? Gabby asked looking at him
"what do we do"? he asked looking back at her
"We're leaving off course, Mom and Dad can handle themselves" Gabby said
"don't you want to at least talk to him" Jason asked looking at her
"of course I want to but I don't have the balls to face him yet" Gabby replied and Jason nodded
"I understand, you take your time" Jason said and gave her a hug to help relieve her worry. They spoke to their parents in a short while and quickly left for the airport after packing but not after speaking with Mrs Madison, Not quite long Mr Walter arrived the airport and they left for Australia

Gabe arrived back home few hours after Gabby's flight took off, in a gloomy mood, he wouldn't talk to anyone, his mom tried to talk to him but he ignored her and headed out of the house to Gabby's house but to his surprise, the house was totally empty revealing no one lived there anymore, he was devastated and and confused, he drove to Gabby's mom coffee shop but someone else works there as a restaurant owner
"excuse me Sir what would you like to order"? the lady asked looking at him with a smile
"I'm sorry how long have you been working here"? he nervously asked the lady
"first of all I own this restaurant and it's been a month and a half I've owned this place, why do you ask? Are you a cop or something"? She asked suspiciously looking at Gabe
"off course not; I'm sorry if I made you nervous but I was looking for a lady who once owned this place, she sells coffee and other stuffs, it's been long I saw her and I thought I should drop by today and say "hi" but it turned out she isn't here anymore so if I may ask do you know anything about her like where she works now or moved to"? Gabe asked worriedly as balls of sweats formed on his forehead
"I'm sorry sir but I don't have any information about her, excuse me"! the lady said rolling her eyes while walking out on him. Gab walked out of the restaurant and quickly drove to Gabby's dad laundry shop but it been replaced by someone else as well. This made him really heart broken making him cry like a child "there's only two persons left who could know where she is" he thought to himself and quickly hopped into his car and drove off to Chris house that same evening
"what's up with you man? why come to my place this time of the night? Wait... how do you know I returned"? Chris asked looking at him
"where is she"? Gabe asked with a blunt voice
"where's who? you mean Nina? she's fine and at her house she wouldn't be here, why"? Chris asked
"Where is Gabby"? Gabe thundered angrily
"What? I don't know; how I'm I supposed to know by the ways"? Chris asked shrugging
"you always know and that's how you knew nothing was going on between Gabby and Jason, that they're siblings and you kept it from me"!! Gabe said in an angered tone
"Look man I'm sorry and I tried to tell you but you wouldn't even listen to me" Chris said nervously looking at Gabe
"You tried to tell me? huh"'? Gabe asked angrily with tears welling up in his eyes
"I tried to man I'm damn serious but you didn't listen remember when I told you "what if what you think isn't what it is" but you wouldn't listen and shushed me off" Chris said gently but in a bit high tone
"And about her leaving when the vacation wasn't over"? Gabe asked
"How was I supposed to tell you that, it's not like you would listen to me anyways so I thought it was the best to let her go and by the way you were already messing around with Mercy and how did you think that made Gabby feel, huh? she was rushed to the hospital that night you never showed up until she left" Chris said hitting his palm with the other hand folded in a ball
"I wasn't messing around with Mercy! I was only trying to get back at Gabby cause I thought she hurt me, how was I supposed to know things would turn out like this? The thing is I don't feel anything for Mercy, I only let her come around me cause I thought it was my own little revenge on Gabby but I was all wrong "! Gabe asked shrugging
"No! you were stupid and selfish Gabriel and that is what you are"! Chris cursed in an angry tone "I didn't believe that if there was any other person to hurt Gabby at school it would be "you" I mean you of all people who wouldn't even let a scratch on her body, you of all people who wouldn't let your selfish sister speak to Gabby rudely would be the one to hurt her and she trusted you with her life, she has always believed that you would soon realize things and come back to your senses but you left her disappointed"?! Chris said angrily as he fought the tears welling up in his eyes "do you know how pained Gabby is? the pains she's passed through because of your sister, do you think she would easily forget those"? Christian asked angrily, he was pissed by the thought of what Gabby has been through
"I'm sorry christian!! I know that I was stupid and selfish but I want her back and you're the only one who can help me" Gabe pleaded in tears
"I don't blame you anymore, I knew you were selfish and stupid but it all wasn't your fault, it was mine as well I should have told you earlier that it was all a game but I was also trying to protect Gabby's feelings, I feel so ashamed of myself right now, hope you can for..."
"Where can I find her"? Gabe asked cutting Chris off words
"Find who ? wait! don't tell me" Chris asked quizzically looking at Gabe
"what?! you don't know where she is? I mean I just went to her house but they've moved, I went to her mom's coffee shop but she has moved as well" Gab said demonstrating with his hands
"what about her dad's laundry shop"? Chris asked but Gabe gave him a disappointed look which made Chris shoulder drop "I have no idea where she is right now but there's only one person who would know though she might not want to see you right now, you know what I mean"? Chris asked and Gabe nodded
"Leave that to me" Gabe said and they drove off to Nina's house on getting there Chris used the door bell and Nina's mom opened the door
"oh my gosh Chris!. how are you doing"? Nina's mom asked happily giving him a hug
"I'm all good Mom"! Chris replied smiling at her
"how about you Gabe"? she asked smiling at him
"I'm good ma'am" Gabe said and smiled lightly
"I'm so glad to see you boys after a long time" she said happily
"we're happy to see you to ma'am" Gabe said smiling
"Mom where is she"? Chris asked looking around
"well she's up in her room" she said pointing towards the stairs while Gabe and Chris nodded with a smile and left for Nina's room, on getting there Chris knocked and she opened the door then slams it back immediately she saw Gabe
"Nina you need to give him a chance to speak" Chris said and tapped at the door which was followed by a heart ripping silence causing Gabe to panic in disappointment, this lasted for about 8-9 minutes before Nina slowly opened the door and let them in, she sat on her bed with Chris seated next to her while Gabe sat on the sofa in her room
"What do you want"? Nina asked looking at Gabe's direction
"Hummm"! Gabe cleared his throat nervously "ugh... look Nina I know I've not been a good friend to Gabby and yourself due to my selfishness and stupidity but I'm sorry please give me one more time to be closer to Gabby"!! Gabe pleaded
"You want to my forgiveness"? Nina asked looking at an unseen being
"Yes Nina please give him one more time to get back to Gabby, look I know he's been selfish but he's ready to turn a new leaf and love Gabby in any way he can" Chris said holding her hands in his
"You want me to forgive you and let you get back with Gabby?! what happens to Mercy then"? Nina asked looking at Gabe's face
"I was stupid! I didn't realize what I was doing but Mercy and I aren't together, I promise"! Gabe said nervously with a dried throat
"ohh my gosh Gabe!! How could you use Mercy to your own benefit knowing fully well she loves you"? Nina asked with a bewildered look on her face
"I didn't realize what I was doing until now please give me a chance to meet up with Gabby and patch things up" Gabe pleaded in a low tone
"you should have done that before coming to me"! Nina said with her eyes focused on him
"She's not home... I mean they moved out of where they lived" Gabe said quickly
"Yes and her parents moved out of where they worked" Chris said looking at Nina's face, she kept a steady face and glared at them in disbelief
"What"?!! Nina screamed in pretence causing Gabe and Chris to look at her in surprise
"What's going on? do you know where she is"? Gabe asked getting to his feet with his hands in his pocket
"No...!! I mean I've been trying to reach her ever since I arrived but she isn't picking up nor has she returned any of my calls" Nina lied
"Let's call the police then! maybe she's in danger or something serious might have happened to her"! Gabe said bringing out his phone
"Not yet Gabe" Chris quickly said
"And why not? She could be in danger or something serious might have happened to her"! Gabe nervously said
"I don't think she's in danger"! Nina said getting off her bed
"What do you mean"? Gabe asked
"I think she needs some space, she's probably hiding from your mom or something" Nina said
"what... what are you talking about"? Gabe stuttered
"You don't know"? Nina asked and Gabriel stared at her
"Know what"? Gabe asked looking at her
"your mom has always known about you two so she organized the summer vacation to her garden so you and Gabby could get back together but I guess it all went down the drain" Chris said
"Why didn't she say anything about it to me? Gabe asked looking disappointed
"I think you should go talk to her, she might be of help" Chris said and Gabe nodded. Gabe was so disappointed in himself that he cried home while driving on getting home he walked into the sitting room with tears in his eyes, his mom walked out of her room to get a glass of water and saw him entering the house looking so devastated, she quickly walked up to him and gave him a warm embrace while Gabe cried in her arms like a child
"It's gonna be okay son"! she said while patting his back.
