Chapter 9 - Durion’s Kindness

Now that they had both introduced themselves, Silimoore was stumped in what to do. He didn't really have many desires in life, well, it's probably because most of his desires presided in death.

So he asked the only person he knew, "Durion, what should I do? Oh, and when should I provide you the blood and stuff?"

[For now you're too weak, once I believe you are strong enough then I will ask you.] He paused to think about something, [Gaining power should be your priority if you're to fulfill my request, but everything else is up to you. Seeing as how you don't really have a goal other than death, you could try and find that out along the way. You don't need to know what you want to do, and you may never find it out, but I'm sure you'll get and idea of it as you go!]

"Huu, that's not really the answer I was looking for but I guess it's something. So how do I get stronger?" He asked.

[For now I suggest you train your body, but before that you should check on the Immortal Raising System.] Durion suggested.

'Immortal Raising System…? Oh yeah! What I heard earlier when I tried speaking to Durion. I remember seeing a system in one of those old novels, I hope it works the same.'

Old stories from before the first tower emergence seemed to line up a lot with the present, so much so that the government even made some of those stories confidential in case they cause mass panic. Though Silimoore found it weird how such stories were seen as dangerous, he commended them in their creativity.

"Uhm, system could you repeat what you said before?" Silimoore asked as he took a seat on the toilet lid. Must I remind you he was still in the bathroom half naked, though most of the water on his body had dried.

[Would you like a full description of the Immortal Raising System?] As expected the robotic voice responded.

"Yes."

[The Immortal Raising System's main use is to assist in the survival of newborn Immortals, the system will usually activate the moment the Immortal is born. (Unless the Immortal blood is not fully awakened.) Reasons behind 100% of Immortal deaths are ### ####### or their more uncommon title ######## ######.

Upon activation of the Immortal Raising System, the closest Immortal will be brought for assistance and/or protection.

The Immortal Raising System is formatted in a way most comfortable to the host. (If you wish to change or update the format of the system, say 'System reformat.') For any further assistance please consult with the Immortal provided to you.]

"Hm, it's a lot less information than I thought for a full description." Silimoore said. [I guess it is a bit misleading to call it a 'full description', but that's what I'm here for sweetie! Just ask me if you need help, it's not like I have a lot to do anyways.] Durion said.

"Erm, alright…" After finding out that Durion is a man, Silimoore felt a bit uncomfortable being called 'sweetie'. Most of the discomfort came from the fact that he had never been adressed in such an intimate way, even his mother had never spoken to him like this.

'It feels a bit nice though, but why?'
