Chapter 30 - HIDDEN DUNGEON EFFECT

Ignis's eyes widened as he remembered his talent [Infusion]. With a grin on his face, he quickly opened his system interface and navigated to the ancient class section. He attempted to use his talent to add the divinity mark to the class, but to his disappointment, nothing happened.

A message from the system appeared on the screen, informing him that he did not have enough XP to use his talent at the moment.

*

[SYSTEM MESSAGE]

Insufficient XP.

To apply [Infusion] to the ancient class [The Witcher], 10,000,000 XP is required.

*

Ignis furrowed his brows in disappointment when he failed to add the divinity mark to his ancient class. He tried to use his talent on his abilities but to no avail. Ignis let out a sigh and muttered to himself, "Looks like my talent can only enhance certain things, and it seems abilities are not one of them. At least now I know the amount of XP needed to apply the enhancement… aah! It would have been amazing if my talent worked on abilities."

Not dwelling on the matter for long, Ignis opened his inventory in search of a weapon. However, his attention was quickly drawn to an unexpected item—a large, shining egg that measured over a metre in size. Ignis furrowed his brow, "The fuck! what's this?"

As he took out the egg, it started to glow even more and levitate in the air on its own. A system prompt appeared, providing an explanation for his curiosity.

*

Item: Divine Egg

Rank: Divine

Description: A sacred egg imbued with divine power. It is said that when hatched, a powerful divine being will emerge. The egg is encased in a radiant shell that glimmers with a white and golden aura.

Hatching Progress: 4%

Note: Hatching this egg requires unique energy.

*

Ignis's eyes widened as he followed the system prompt and saw the egg levitating in the air on its own, his mouth agape with shock and excitement. He could feel his heart beating faster and faster as he realised what he was looking at.

"Okay-kay-kk-kkkyyy!,"

"Divine….!"

"It's the divine item!" he said in a trembling voice, barely able to contain his excitement.

He sat down on the floor, his grin growing wider and wider as he tried to calm himself down. But the thrill of the moment was too much for him to handle, and he found himself letting out a launitic laugh.

Ignis chuckled to himself for a moment before taking a deep breath and focusing on the hatching condition. As he read through the requirements, he thought, "Unique energy, huh? That means I'll need to hunt down some unique monsters." He knew that finding these creatures would be a matter of luck. "Oh! Well, not a problem for me; I'm unlucky, so I'll stumble on them soon... just like that guardian," he said confidently.

He stood up and kept the egg again in his inventory and then looked for a weapon; his inventory currently had only 2 items, one of which was the egg and the other was a weapon selecting card.

Ignis scratched his head, staring at the array of weapons in front of him. His eyes darted from a sleek rapier to a menacing axe, and he even caught a glimpse of a kusarigama. He couldn't help but make a silly puppy face at the sight of it. Oh, baby, I'll be back for you soon," he whispered, unable to resist the allure of the kusarigama's deadly charm.

After a few moments of intense contemplation, he made his decision. He reached out, his fingers hovering over a longsword, a nodachi, and a katana. He squinted, trying to imagine himself wielding each weapon in battle. Finally, he muttered to himself, "I may not be a samurai, but I'm feeling pretty katana today."
