With fierce determination burning in their hearts, Ignis and Kate charged towards the eclipsian guardian, their eyes locked onto the massive creature before them.
Ignis swung his deadly kusarigama in a wide arc, aiming straight for the guardian's right leg, while Kate charged towards the other leg with lightning speed, her eyes ablaze with a burning desire for revenge.
As she closed in on her target, Kate activated her skill [Quick Charge], boosting her speed even further and allowing her to close the distance in the blink of an eye.
With a fierce battle cry, she unleashed her talent, [Inferno], a devastating burst of flame that engulfed the guardian's leg in an instant.
Causing damage -133 and -140
The eclipsian guardian, seeing this, swung its upper two fists towards the maggots it could see and used its lower hands to pick rocks.
As the eclipsian guardian launched its attack towards their fallen comrade, Ignis and Kate's hearts sank with fear and rage. They had to act fast, or their friend would be in critical condition.
With lightning-fast reflexes, they dodged the incoming fists, their eyes fixed on the guardian's next move. And then, with a sickening thud, they watched as the two rocks struck the ground near their unconscious teammate, sending them flying across the ground.
"Shit! BC! " Ignis cursed, his fists clenching in anger as he saw the guardian's cruel attack.
"Ethyn, hurry up!" he shouted to their other teammate, who was running towards the other side of the battlefield.
Ethyn's eyes were blazing with fierce determination as she sprinted towards an appropriate spot to take down the monstrous eclipsian guardian.
She didn't know the group for very long, but she already felt a connection to them, especially to Hannah, who had become like a little sister to her. And she wasn't going to let anything happen to them.
With every step, Ethyn pushed herself harder, her heart pounding with adrenaline and her muscles burning with exertion. She could feel the weight of her longbow and quiver on her back, a comforting presence that reminded her of her duty to protect her friends.
As the battle raged on, Ignis barked orders to Kate, telling her to guard the group and administer health potions to their fallen comrade. Meanwhile, he focused his attention on taking down the monstrous guardian, his kusarigama whirling through the air with deadly precision.
Kate's eyes blazed with fury as she witnessed the eclipsian guardian's callous attack on their fallen comrade. Her hands trembled with rage as if she longed to unleash a devastating blow on the monstrous creature right then and there. This was the first time in her life that she had felt such a visceral desire to wish for what she wanted and to protect those she cared about at any cost.
But despite her intense emotions, Kate knew that she had to stay focused and keep a clear head.
With a deep breath, she steadied herself and sprang into action, following Ignis's orders with precision. She moved quickly and decisively, shielding her fallen comrades from further harm and administering healing potions to those in need.
Ignis darted and dodged the monster's massive fists with quick and nimble movements. His kusarigama swung with deadly accuracy, delivering devastating blows every time it made contact. The lightning arcs that followed the third consecutive hit only added to the monster's agony.
With both girls in the safe spot, Ignis knew they needed to act quickly. "We have to take the fight to the other side!" His voice carried an urgent tone.
"Try to wake them up!" Ignis shouted to Kate as he used his kusarigama to climb the massive body of the eclipsian guardian. The monster was starting to get frustrated by the maggot, who was constantly evading its attacks.
As Ignis climbed and attacked the eclipsian guardian, dodging its massive fists, Ethyn's voice reached his ears, "I'm ready." Ignis chuckled to himself, "Finally! I was getting bored up here all by myself."
"Let's fuck it up!" Ignis exclaimed with a grin on his face.
Ethyn nodded, her eyes blazing with determination as she took aim at the guardian's flank.
Ignis continued to climb and attack the monster, taunting it with insults: "Is that all you got, you oversized bitch? My grandma could hit harder than you!" The guardian roared in frustration, trying to swat him like a fly.
Ethyn's eyes sparkled with excitement as she reached for the large new arrows. Ignis had been talking about them for a while, and she couldn't wait to see what they were capable of.
She bought them from the trading area of the tower, and each cost her 100 system points.
With a wry grin, she couldn't resist making a quip about the cost of the arrows. "Well, at least they don't cost an arm and a leg," she joked, a twinkle in her eye.
As she loaded the arrow, she couldn't help but crack a smile at the thought of the monster's reaction to getting hit by the new arrow shot by the new bow.

The divine effect of Ignis's talent was even more hubba-hubba, allowing her to cause blasts and causing 1.5 times more damage, and on every fifth consecutive hit, it caused five times the damage.
As she nocked the long arrow onto her bow, she scanned the battlefield, her enhanced vision allowing her to spot the eclipsian guardian's neck in this dim atmosphere.
With a determined focus, she drew the bowstring back, feeling the tension building as she aimed the arrow towards the guardian's neck. Suddenly, the air around her crackled with energy as she unleashed a powerful blast of mana, causing the surrounding area to shake with the force of the impact.
The arrow flew true, striking the guardian's neck with deadly precision.
The eclipsian guardian who was dealing with Ignis was caught off guard and roared in agony.

Ethyn wasted no time, unleashing a barrage of arrows that rained down on the guardian with deadly accuracy. Each arrow struck with 1.5 times more force than normal, causing the creature to reel under the onslaught.
Ignis, his signature grin plastered on his face, was also about to reach the neck and prepared himself to use his skill.
Meanwhile, Ethyn consecutively released her fifth attack, and as she reloaded the next large arrow, she could feel more mana gathering on the arrowhead, imbuing it with even more power.
Suddenly, the eclipsian guardian focused its gaze towards the little maggot with long hair and a long bow. The guardian leapt into the air, its massive body soaring high above the battlefield. Ignis clung to its neck, trying to steady himself as the creature shook and writhed beneath him.
But before he could react, the guardian dropped suddenly, sending Ignis tumbling down its body. The creature then scooped up four boulders in its massive hands, hurling them towards Ethyn with all its might.
With her bow in hand, Ethyn surveyed the scene as three massive boulders hurtled towards her. Quickly calculating her options, she prepared to unleash a devastating attack. Drawing back her bowstring with steady hands, she let loose an arrow that would cause five times the damage and aimed it at the nearest boulder.
As the arrow flew towards its target, Ethyn deftly loaded two smaller arrows and launched them at the other two incoming boulders, shattering them into rubble. But just as she prepared to take aim at the final boulder, it closed in on her with surprising speed.
BAM!
In the blink of an eye, the final boulder closed in on Ethyn with alarming speed, leaving her no time to react. She tried to dodge, but it was too late. The massive rock crashed into her, slamming her into the ground with an earth-shattering force.
Aaaaaaaargh!
Pain seared through Ethyn's body as she felt the full weight of the boulder crushing down on her leg. She cried out in agony as she struggled to free herself, her bow lying uselessly beside her.
Aaaaaaaargh!
She was continuously losing her HP and was now down to only 40% of it.
Ignis clung to the massive body of the eclipsian guardian, his mind focused solely on the battle raging around him. But when he heard Ethyn's anguished cry of pain, everything else fell away.
For a moment, Ignis could do nothing but stare in horror as he heard the inconsolable Ethyn cry out in agony. The cries he had promised himself never to hear again echoed in his ears, and he felt a surge of fear and anger well up inside him.
Kate, on the other hand, had already put the unconscious members behind a large boulder that was created due to the explosion earlier.
She sprung into action, her eyes locked on Ethyn's writhing form. She sprinted towards her, dodging the falling debris.
Meanwhile, Ignis was lost in a whirlwind of emotions, his mind consumed by fear and rage.
