Shiro felt her heart beating so fast that she couldn't explain anymore. "What is he trying to do?" her head starts to ask but then when she senses his breathing in her mouth, she couldn't move at least a single step to stop him.
"What should I do?" she asked herself as she can feel her head spinning round and round.
"Why did I want to close my eyes?" she asserted and her eyes helplessly closing again like she is about to drown in a deep sleep. Austin started to tilt his head almost reaching her lips at the moment he moved her closer to him by caressing her waist until Shiro could not help any more to hold his chest while shutting her eyes completely.
"HELLO MA'AM AND S-"
"Tsk..." Austin said with his death stare at the crew that interrupted them.
"E-ENJOY! I MEAN SO HAPPY YOU ENJOYED OUR-"
"I'm going home!" Shiro halted the crew from talking as she realized that their ride on the Ferris wheel was already done and luckily but not lucky for Shiro that only one employee sees them near to each other's faces. Shiro immediately run towards him and Austin shouted her name that's why she started to cover herself.
"Hey!" Austin instantly followed her and hold her arms. "H-hey we're not yet done! T-that Ferris wheel wasn't part of my plan!" Austin confessed to her while he is stammering and obviously flustered because his cheeks are getting red.
"Then... go ahead... Mom said I should not be so late!"
"Don't worry! I'll take you home!" Austin exclaimed and look at Shiro awkwardly like a kid.
"Let's go..." Austin added and forcibly hold Shiro's wrist again.
"Get in," Austin commanded Shiro to ride inside his car after he opens the car door upwardly. Shiro arched her eyebrows and anxiously panicked but Austin immediately stops her from overthinking.
"It's actually walking distance but It will be faster if we used my car so get in!" he said and pushes her not that much, or else Shiro will whack his face again for he knows she's aggressive when it comes to that. Shiro noticed that Austin became more serious while starting up his engine so that she never had to speak and let him drive his car even though she has no idea where they will go. They shortly already on the place they will go and Austin places his car at the parking lot not that far from the mall they went to.
"Seriously..." Shiro mumbled as she felt he just wasted fuel from his car.
"I just want to park that in there! Stop complaining!" he said and they started walking.
The warm night air seemingly touching their skin as they walk through the alleys full of street lights, they can even hear the sound of busy roads buzzing and waiting for the stop lights to make them move from the heavy traffic. As they continue walking through the roads they are retracing, Austin glances at Shiro once again and secretly beaming as he sees her delightfully walking.
"We're here," Austin said to her and she turned her head up and sees a tower building.
"I've never seen this before!" she was amazed while looking upwards.
"It's part of Asher's mall... that does not yet publicize," Austin proudly said to her, and she became to wondered.
"Are you sure we can go inside right now?"
"Yes. Of course, why not? I can even purchase that building! Asher must be thankful that she's my friend!"
"Huh? What the hell I'm just asking! I hate breaking rules!" Shiro exclaimed and he cracks up again on her.
"But I love breaking rules," he said and smirks at her that is why Shiro pretends to laugh and brings her a serious face back, "Then go inside by yourself!" She said but Austin stops her and grabs her going inside the building.
Only one security guard is at the main gate and inside are merely the other employees of the building but they are not that much. They hurriedly go inside the elevator and he quickly pressed the floor they are going to. As they are already up the floor seems so dark and the echoes of their ambling feet surrounded hallways. Austin goes to the swirling metallic staircase and helps Shiro while involuntary holding her hand. The wind started to crisp on her ears like there was a roaring surge through it and as they finally step on the rooftop, Shiro gets surprised to see the city lights seem dancing around the tower.
"Whoa!" Shiro delightfully exclaimed like a kid as she runs towards the glass fences and holds them tightly. Shiro begins to look upwards and she is amazed by the night sky and the starlight twinkling within her eyes.
"It's so beautiful!" Shiro said to Austin as she still looking up.
Austin leans on the fences and he smiles once more at Shiro.
"Hey..." he suddenly calls her, "Why?" Shiro asked him without looking at him as she was still fascinated by the view she's staring at.
A sound of a ruffled paper suddenly gets Shiro's attention and she immediately sees the small bouquet wrapped with a brown craft paper that Austin's holding and giving it to her.
"W-what's that for?" Shiro stuttered while asking him. Austin rapidly moves his eyes and tries not to become awkward.
"It's from the building! Since... since you are the first guess!" he said to her and forcefully gets her hand to hold the flowers.
"That's yours!" he said and quickly turn away from her getting himself back to the balcony. Shiro slowly goes beside him as she also glimpses the city lights around them.
"Hey, you can cling on my arms! I have strong muscles for a scaredy penguin like you!" Austin said in a serious tone but he is intentionally teasing her.
"Shut up! I'm not scared! Just on the Ferris wheel because they are moving and I don't trust that kind of ride and this kind of, I mean about heights ahhh! whatever! Do I really need to explain?" Shiro asserted while stamping her feet that's why Austin laugh hysterically while holding his tummy that's why Shiro shoves her feet on him and almost snaps the bouquet on his face.
"This girl!" he said and she instantly realizes and she carefully places the flowers on the circular glass table. She looks back on Austin once again and he begins to giggle.
"You really take care of that just for me isn't it?" He teased then suddenly wink at her.
"Stop creeping me out!" she shouted and hit his arms by punching them.
"That's lame!" he tries to insult her and Shiro widened her eyes and punches him more aggressively this time but Austin just chuckled that's why she just rolled her eyes and walk toward the fences.
Shiro takes a deep breath and looks at the city lights once again, as she keeps on looking at it she feels like the lights are getting rougher; As she's drifting upon the lights she heard Austin's steps getting closer at her back and he slowly hugs her holding her waist and places his chin on Shiro's shoulders.
"What are you doing?" she asked whereas she trying to get off herself but Austin just hug her tightly and forcibly got her close to him.
"You never gave me the chance earlier that's why I'm grabbing the opportunity now," he teasingly said to her that's why Shiro widened her eyes and felt her heart beating so fast and she gives her strength to move away from him but still, Austin grabbed her and turn her around to face him and hugs her tightly that she started to feel Austin's breath on her ears.
"I won the dare, right? So I can do whatever I want!" he said.
"Hey! Do I agree with this? You just said I'm going to treat you but now you-"
"Blah blah blah whatever!" he said and started to laugh like a kid and turn Shiro once again and give her a back hug placing his chin once again on her shoulders.
"Please let me do it... just a minute... just for tonight," he begged her in a calm convincing manner and it makes Shiro stop from her regression and slowly withdraw her hands out of Austin's wrists.
Shiro wasn't sure about what she is going to feel as she let Austin hug her; she instantly motions her eyes and looks up at Austin as her cheeks are almost near his face that's why she instantly turns her eyes looking at the city lights once more, getting drowned by it and captivatingly watching it glimmers, together.
Nights are getting deeper as Austin drives his car whereas Shiro is anxiously looking at her phone texting her mom that she's on her way and blaming the traffic constantly as her reason why it is already 10 PM right now. She keeps on stamping her feet whenever the car is halting from the heavy traffic that's why Austin just snickering on her side and this time she cannot help herself to say something to him.
"This is all your fault and you are still laughing like that!" She insisted then crossed her arms looking at the window. Austin crack a smile again, giggling like a kid as he started to steer his wheel again.
"Don't worry! I'll prove to your mom that you are safe with me!" he said.
Shiro just shut her mouth, never said any words to respond even though she wanted to say something. She decided to look at the outside more and sees those lights from the building, as well as those vehicles, paused from the traffic. As she glimpses on her phone, her mom just never texted her back so she leaned herself a little deeper this time and angrily shrugged off that's why Austin look at her.
"Hey, why you are always mad... I mean every single day!" he said with a serious tone and it gives rise to Shiro to sit properly again and look at him steering his car slowly.
"Maybe a bad omen just exists this year that's why I can feel I will be mad and madder for the rest of the year!" she responded and turn her back.
Austin started to frown trying to comprehend Shiro's words on him and he finally realized as he suddenly widen his eyes.
"HEY! DO YOU MEAN... DO YOU MEAN IM THAT BAD OMEN?"
He shouted which provokes an echo inside his car. Shiro takes a deep sigh to look at him while holding her ears and she started to hit his shoulders.
"Who else though? And HEY! Are you shouting at me?" she asserted as well as widening her eyes to threaten him.
"Huh," he smirks and gazes at her.
"Then be mad for the rest of your life Shi-ro," he continued and creeping his smile at her as he emphasized Shiro's name and he started near himself as the traffic light turned on the red sign again.
As he keeps on nearing himself, Shiro started to feel her heart beats faster and she realizes that Austin's breath is nearer and nearer to her so she began to think about what just happened at the time they were on the Ferris wheel when he almost put his lips against her and also earlier she let him hugged her for a long time. She suddenly widens her eyes as Austin puts his fist in his chair that's why she unintendedly slapped Austin's face.
"Hey! That hurts!" Austin pointed out while touching his cheeks. Shiro was embarrassed by what she did and fixed her hair while sitting properly.
"Look out for the thoroughfare we might get an accident!" she beckoned and cross her arms looking at the window beside her as she thinned her lips trying herself to stay calm and showed she was not startling from him. Austin just takes a deep breath and started to drive whereas he secretly giggles because he noticed Shiro being shy of him and he thinks she is getting prettier from it that's why he wanted to tease her but set aside it for he needs to focus on the driveway.
As they finally set themselves in Shiro's home; she sights her mom and she's crossing her arms in front of their gate so Shiro came to be nervous and immediately goes down on the car.
"Hey!" Austin shouted inside but she was steadfastly walking towards her mom.
"You are finally here," her mom calmly but in a steely manner that's why Shiro started to gulp and clasp the paper bags, she's holding.
"Ma, I'm—"
"Aunty sorry we're late the traffic was bad but I assure you that she's always safe with me... Aunty," he proudly said and smiled calmly looking at Aunty Queenie. Auntie took a deep sigh being intrigued by Austin's confidence but also trying to be intimidated as soon as possible.
"It's 11:30 and almost midnight that's why AUSTIN... When I said 7 or 9 pm make sure it will be EXACT, do you understand?" she necessitated and look at the both of them back and forth with her almost threatening gaze at them. Shiro scratches the back of her head and gives an awkward smile to Austin.
"Go home..." she whispered to him and he raised his eyebrows, "See you then," he loudly said so Shiro thinned her lips and look at her mom who is also raising her eyebrows to them.
"Take care on your way home Austin..." she said in that manner again and Shiro looks at him while throwing gestures at him to go away. He bows a little and murmured then look at Shiro once again before he leaves them.
Shiro and her mom just exchanged glances and her mom said that they will just talk the other day for she knows she's tired. Shiro instantly goes up to her room, recalling everything that had happened for today, and she jumps to her bed as she also throws her bag away from her along with those gifts from Austin.
"What's happening to him? Why does he act like that?" She asked herself while covering her eyes with her shoulders. She immediately sits down on her bed and scratches the back of her head aggressively and she suddenly remembers what happened to them on the Ferris wheel. Austin's face glimpses on her mind as she keeps on seeing his delighted expression when he was so excited to ride on it. As she continued to think back; she widened her eyes and slapped her cheeks as she remember how near Austin's face was on her.
"No... no... AHHH NO!" she exclaimed while stamping her feet and she stands up then look at herself in the mirror. When she glared at her reflection, there was something within her that somehow, this day has something that prickles her heart from the feeling she cannot clarify at all.
Austin on the other hand, happily driving his car and cannot stop smiling as he started to think about Shiro. He began to chuckle and quite dreadful for the time was that fast and he cannot wait to see her once again. When traffic halted his car, he stopped in front of the tower where he and Shiro had their last destination for the date. He smiled once again as he remembered how he prepared just for this Saturday night.
"You know our new building right?" Asher whispered to him. Austin frowned upon her and stared at her with full of questions on his face.
"Yeah, I know what the hell is going to do with that with us?" He asked arrogantly that's why Asher aggressively punch his arms.
"You idiot! I am lending that for free so you can have your moment to see those city lights at the top of the tower! That's sweet you know! Yay!" She exclaimed and hit his shoulders more hostile this time.
"HEY STOP!" Austin shouted and hid his happiness from what he heard from Asher, "Then you should arrange that smoothly, or else I'm going to purchase that!" he said and stands up confidently looking at her with his arrogant look again.
"Yeah, leave it to me!" she said and hastily stay away from him without waiting for Austin's response. As Asher goes away from him he immediately runs towards his room and goes to his dressing room that is larger than their classroom at Chao Yang. He surveyed his room staring at the massive wardrobe surrounding him.
"What should I wear?" he mumbled.
Friday night has come and when he finalized everything he went to his bed and have seen Asher's messages on him: "I've prepared everything!" she said and sends a picture of a small bouquet of sunflowers, tulips, and roses on it.
"I ordered that and I will leave that with one of our employees he will lend that to you when you finally come! Enjoy your date!" she added.
"Tss..." Austin mumbled to himself as he denied the excitement he felt inside him.
"Flowers huh? Aren't we shifting that..." he stopped talking as he started to laugh by himself while closing his eyes with his hands.
"Just imagine her reaction!" he exclaimed and change his position whereas he covered himself with his blanket looking at the right side of his room. "I should sleep or else I'm going to be late!" he whispered to himself and harshly closed his eyes and opened it again, then change position once again.
"Argghhh!" he shouted for he felt he cannot sleep even though he was tired preparing for everything besides having his class earlier.

[BEEP] Suddenly a deafening buzz awake Austin's drifting and he started to drive neglecting the disgruntled driver behind him. When he drives steadfastly he noticed something in his mirror and surprisingly saw the bouquet at the back seat.
"Oh damn...How could you!" he screeched.
