"I don't understand," Reef told Bella that morning. "Why is Nathan chasing Kylie? What does he see in Kylie? I guess he could even date supermodels and movie stars with his wealth and fame." Reef cast his gaze towards the skyscrapers. They were on the balcony after breakfast. "One more thing, I see you're still restless. What's wrong?"
Bella was leaning against the balcony railing, her back to Reef. In her hand was a half-filled coffee cup. She was anxious because she couldn't get rid of what Nathan had said about the money laundering case that he thought led to Reef. Although on the other hand she doubted it, because if it was true that the money laundering case had been sniffed out, the authorities should have acted.
"I was just thinking about my script," she lied. "My agent Christine will be here shortly to discuss some things. She invited me to meet outside, but I was in the mood for home. Besides, you'll be home alone."
