Carter's frustration with Nathan is growing. Why hadn't Nathan been upfront that his trip out of town was a plan with Bella? The last time they met, Nathan's demeanor was casual, not appearing to be hiding anything. Or, maybe from Nathan's perspective, Bella's participation wasn't anything special. In this case, Carter's perspective is the opposite.
"When is she coming back?" Carter asked Julie.
"He told me to move this week's schedule to next week. I don't think Mr. Nathan will be there for more than a week."
