Once again Bella had to dress up for dinner. This time her dinner is with Carter. Carter asks for her approval to pick a restaurant, and when Bella proposes the one they used to go to when they were together, Carter is surprised.
"Why?" he asks. They have a conversation over the phone. "I thought you didn't want to remember all our memories together anymore."
"Is that your assumption?" Now it was Bella who was surprised. "Carter, we parted on good terms and I hope we'll still be friends, because you used to be one of my best friends. I appreciate everything we've ever done together."
"I didn't think you would say that."
"Even though I don't love you, I care about you. In this case the only one to blame is my dad, because he created this drama in the first place."
