Kylie Wilson heard what happened on the television news that afternoon. She was shocked to see Reef's corporate building invaded by journalists. She watched as the Director of Human Resources talked to them to calm things down and said that their CEO was preparing to give a statement to the Federal Bureau, so he could not yet give a statement to the media. He promised that the CEO would give a proper explanation to the public at the right time.
Kylie was in her shop. She turned off the television and reached for her cell phone to call Reef. But the dial tone was busy. She waited a while and tried dialing the number again, but it was still busy. Annoyed, Kylie grabbed her handbag on the chair next to her and left.
A store employee turned around and asked seeing her about to leave. "Are you leaving?"
"Yes. I have to see Reef Davis."
