Olive Pov"I brokered a deal to get Eagan released if he gave up Eden's location. I was supposed to meet Ben at the address but your brother gave me the slip." I hear Vance say while me and Cal thunder down the stairs. "What's going on? Dad knows where Eden is?" We say over the top of each other. "He didn't tell you." Vance says throwing up his hands. "What about Marls" I ask. "Marlene could be dead for all he knows look, Ben is going to get himself killed going wherever he went alone." He says making my heart break. "Okay how long ago was this?" Aunt Mick asks. "2 hours." He states. "Let's hit the attic." "Yeah." They agree as they all run back up the stairs. We start searching through everything. "I thought my teenagers were messy but this is." Vance questions while we look. "Who knows the password?" Zeke asks grabbing dad's laptop. "Let me try." Cal says putting in a bunch of password combinations. "I might know it." I say pushing him out if he way when he gets it wrong. I get in and move when aunt mick how goes for the laptop. "What was the code?" Cal asks. "Eden's birthday." I say. "Okay there's nothing in his outgoing mail..." She says as Cal coughs. "And his search history's wiped." She concludes as Zeke tries calling him. "Phones going straight to voicemail." He states as Cal finds it on the table. "And it's right here." He's says picking it up. "Bastard called me on a burner." Vance realizes. "Yeah, well you taught him well." Michaela says. "Now what do we do? Ok how do we find dad?" I ask as I start pacing. "The only one who knows where to find Ben is Eagan and he's not gonna tell me shit." Vance informs us. "I'll go first thing." Aunt Mick sighs. "I'll come with." Zeke says. "No your patients need you. I can... I can handle Eagan." She protests. "So we just sit here and worry." Cal says. "We all should worry." Vance says drawing our attention to him. "There's no way this ends well." I clench my jaw and walk out with a scowl.Third person PovBy the looks of it Michaela isn't the only one seeing bees as Eden Stone follows one down the stairs and into the basement. Poor Ben Stone is awestruck as he looks up and sees his young daughter coming round the shelves and into his line of sight. Standing right in front of him. "Eden." He says, muffled by the gag. She's looks around for the bee which seems to have disappeared. "Eden it's daddy." He says to his curious daughter."There you are, you can't run off like that." Angelina says but stops short and gasps quietly when she sees Ben tied up to a pipe. "Um we're still playing the invisible game sweetie and this place is dangerous." She says as Eden points at Ben. "Man." She says. "Yeah, yeah bad man." Angelina says manipulating the little girl. "Very bad man. But don't worry, mommy's here to protect you." She says picking her up. "Who loves you most?" She questions pissing off a now seething Ben. "Mommy and Auntie Mars" Eden says fondly as she hugs Angelina. "That's right angel. Mommy and Aunty Mars." She says looking at Ben and begins walking away. Ben grunts trying to escape as he yells through the gag. "Eden. Eden come back! Eden!" He yells as the door closes.Marlene Pov
I wake up feeling sick as I see Angelina brushing Eden's hair while she plays with her doll. "Eden sweetie, you know how sometimes you see things in your head?" She questions piquing my interest. "Like the windmill?" She says making Eden nod. "Yes mommy." "Did you see the bad man in your head?" Angelina tries "No." She says making my heart leap. Ben is here?! "Did you bring him here?" "No mommy." She says making me smile as I pretend to sleep. "Well the bad man is like the wolf in little red riding hood. He wants hurt mommy and Auntie Mars. Do you want mommy and Auntie Mars to get hurt?" Oh I'm gonna kill that bitch. "No mommy." She says sounding guilty as she brushes her dolls non-existent hair. Don't be guilty child, she is a liar. "Okay, that's why we need to stay upstairs and we don't talk to strangers ever. She says sternly. "Do you understand?" Where is that damn gun? "Yes mommy." She complies. "Eden. Who's the only person in the whole wide world you can trust?" She asks. "Mommy and Auntie Mars." She says. "No just one. You have to pick." "Oh. Auntie Mars." She answers making my heart melt as I snicker quietly. "No you have to pick mommy. Do you like mommy more?" "No. I like Auntie Mars." She says. "Why do you like Auntie Mars more?" She asks sounding hurt. Hah guess you weren't expecting that. Take that bitch. "Auntie Mars is nice and sometimes you can be mean and scary. Auntie Mars is never mean and scary." She says making tears of joy gather in my eyes. She scoffs as she looks at me then stands up and walks to the door as someone knocks and comes in. Eden runs over to the bed and climbs in hiding under the covers as I quietly snuggle up to her. "I'm sorry I- we don't want any trouble. We just need somewhere to sleep." Angelina says cutting of the woman I recognize as Erica Bruness. She held up a gun store with her boyfriend a few years back. I sit up still cuddling Eden. "It's ok I know who you are Angelina. We met 2 years ago the day Adrian called you his blessed angel." Oh great another psycho bitch. "I believe in you, I believe in all angels." She says smiling in mine and Eden's direction making me tighten my hold on my little girl and glare at them. "We just want to be safe." Angelina reasons. "You will be, I'll make sure of it. Come." She says leading Angelina out. I quickly peel back the covers and carefully stand up. My legs are still shaky from withdrawals and my head is spinning but I manage it without falling. I quickly get dressed and ready for the day incase anything happens.
Olive Pov"You should be waiting at home. If I hear anything." Vance advises "If you hear anything we wanna be here for it." Cal says cutting Vance off. "We know that our best bet to find out where dad went is to stick with you. So we're staying put." I state. "Stubbornness must be a genetic trait, stay out of the way. Touch nothing." He says throwing his arms up as he walks away. "Hi. Hey." We greet Saanvi. "Heard you got big but, wow." Troy says making Cal chuckle before he starts coughing. "Hey you ok?" I ask patting him on the back. "I make a soothing macha ginger tea with honey." Troy offers. "Guys. I'm fine it's just dry weather." He says pulling up his sleeves. "Cal your scar. I never got around to sampling it." She says grabbing his arm and pulling him over to her work set up.
Third person PovThese callings keep stepping up their game. While Drea and Mick have figured out where Ben is at, said professor is working on his escape by cutting the ropes with a broken plate. He tries opening the door which is obviously locked. Thought you were smarter than that Professor Plain Vanilla. (Nickname courtesy of Eagan, so please don't think I'm being racist.) So he tries climbing up on a shelf to get to a window. But ends up slipping and falling off and cutting his hand in the process. Ouch. Mean while tensions are brewing high as the passengers with Adrian discover that Ben, Eden, Marlene, and Angelina are among them.Flashback"It's ok Eden this is my room, just stay right here." Angelina says placing a baby Eden and hauling an weak and woozy Marlene on the bed before taking some cash out of her jewelry box at her mothers house. "What are you doing here?" Noelle asks scaring Angelina. "Mother your back. Thank god I need your help." She says sighing in relief. "Help?" She scoffs glancing to Eden and Marlene on the bed who's stomach is leaking blood onto the bed. "Your beyond help you murdered an innocent woman and kidnapped her daughters?" She questions in disbelief. "Grace is dead?" Angelina asks with a shaky voice. "No I didn't mean to do that. I didn't." She says. "Save it. I don't even recognize who you are anymore. Leave now or I will call the police." She threatens. "No Mom please. I'm begging you. We have nowhere else to go." She pleads with her mother. As she picks up Eden and her bag. "You mean you have no one left to use." She says grabbing Marlene and her daughters arm, dragging them outside. Eden begins crying as Angelina begs her mother. "Mom. Please no." Angelina pleads. "Wait no. Don't let her take us, please she's unstable and Eden needs her family." I cry pleading with Noelle. "I don't want to hear it. I cannot hear it anymore you have cost this family too much." She says holding back tears. "Mother please." She pleads as a last attempt. "I'm done get out!" She demands. "Mommy. I love you!" Angelina cries. "Your dead to me!" She shamelessly yells before slamming the door closed. End of flashback.Angelina cries at the memory as ash tips over her. She heads up to the room, finding Marlene looking at Eden alarmed. "It's snowing." The little girl says as she slowly spins around as more ash flutters down around her. "You see it too?" She says crouching in front of Eden. "Yes, my angel very special snow. Sent to us. Now I know why we were brought here. "The righteous shall be protected, and the deceivers will perish." She quotes looking down in thought before hugging Eden, making Marlene sit up in alarm ready to attack Angelina and run with Eden if she has to. She lets go and heads down stairs. "Then what? How can we trust you?" A passenger asks Adrian. "You can't." She states. "He cast me out after promising refuge. Who's to say he won't do the same to any of you?" She asks. "But your a murderer." The man says. "Whether you agree with who I am or not, we're connected. All of us." She says as the man shakes his head and the passengers whisper to each other. Adrian glances down at a wooden chest and realizes her plan. "What have you done?" He asks.Meanwhile Jared has come to the same realization in the green house as he finds one of the explosives hidden away. "Holy shit!" He says heading back to Zeke and Michaela as they watch Angelina through binoculars. "Okay. They've got them inside we should go in." She says. "Jared said to wait." He protests. "Zeke, we have no cell service and no time. Ben needs us." She explains making him hesitate. "I'm not waiting, I'm going in." She says getting up. "STOP!" Jared yells running over. "They have a bomb." He whispers. I look out the window hearing a yell and slam my hand on the glass to catch their attention, when that doesn't work I wrench the window open and launch a book at Jared's head. "Ow." HE says turning around to see me waving frantically. 'She's lined the place with explosives.' I mouth."You are all going to be tested." Angelina says trying to manipulate them. "I'm not taking orders from a little girl." The man says angering her. "I'm not a little girl." She says revealing the controller to the bomb. "What's that supposed to be?" He asks. "It's a detonator! The fertilizer. You made bombs?!" Adrian exclaims catching everyone's attention including the girl upstairs. "Everyone down on the ground. Now!" She yells as everyone ducks down. "Today is your day of judgment!" She preaches holding up the detonator."The captain." Eden giggles. Through the vents catching Bens attention. "Yes Auntie." She says as he pinpoints the sounds source. "Eden." He says. As she speaks to her dolls. "No mommy. He's a big bad wolf. Stay upstairs. Don't talk to strangers." She recites brushing her dolls nonexistent hair. "Okay mommy." She says in a funny voice as she moves the doll around as I pack every thing away into a bag. Frantically grabbing a piece of glass of the floor, Ben begins trying to unscrew the vents screws. "I'm coming for you love." He says as I trip. "Ah motherfucker." I swear clutching my leg as I slam into the shelf when I fall. "Marls." Ben smiles as he works faster."The time for your reckoning has come. This will be your trial by fire. My guardian angel will save those who are worthy, and shepherd us towards salvation." She says reciting her crappy speech. "Eden, is just a child. Not an angel." Adrian slowly says beginning to get onto his knees.FlashbackHorns honk as Angelina drags a terrified and dizzy Marlene to stand on the railing of a harbor bridge. "It's gonna be okay. We'll go together." She sobs holding Eden in her arms. "Together we'll find salvation." She says. "No Angelina please don't do this. She is not an angel she will die. Do you really want to be the reason she drowns?" Marlene sobs. "Shut up!" Angelina yells about to step off the railing. "Mama!" Eden voices touching Angelina's hair. "You want me to be your mommy?" The woman asks shocked. "No." Marlene whispers in disbelief. "Mama, mama." She whines. "You are my guardian angel! I'll never doubt our connection again my sweet girl. "For I know the plans I have for you declared the Lord." She quotes stepping down. She slips some jewellery into her bag before throwing it in the water. Flashback over.
