Standing from her bed, she started walking all over her room in cycles. She was thinking about what was said by Anabelle as snorted all the while.
Layla and Anabelle once lived in together in the town of Barthratz and they were even friends. But the problem with Anabelle was that she always wanted them to do only the things she wanted because her father was the so called ruler of the continent.
Anabelle always looked down at everyone and always told Layla that it was a priviledge for her to be the friend of the ruler's daughter which always made Layla crazy and angry.
Anabelle thought she could have all what she wanted and do all she wanted just because her father was the ruler. Every time Layla and Anabelle played, Anabelle will make things to only favour her and make her win, saying that the daughter of the ruler must always win in everything that she makes in her life.
So after sometime of going all over with what Anabelle always said, Layla decided that she will not like to be Anabelle's friend again. She started distancing away from Anabelle and made other friends with peoples, living Anabelle all alone since nobody wanted her as a friend due to her behaviour.
Anabelle felt so sad after sometimes and realised that all she needed to do was to go see Layla and apologize. But she was too proud of herself and said to herself that she will never ask for forgiveness because her, the daughter of Mendez Vincent, ruler of Lionest is not as the other civilians and has more influence than them.
So she just left her to be and started a life of solitude with no friend. She only had some girls which she considered as high enough to befriend her but even them where not always in accord with her behaviour. But she didn't care about all that because of her pride.
Her so called friends left her one by one till there was only one of them left with her. She was the only friend left and Anabelle still didn't change and still treated her last friend so bad.
Her Dad discorvered that Anabelle was becoming a cold hearted girl and he wasn't sure if this was really his daughter. So he decided after some years that she will continue her education at Xelephic in Holoyd town and he did.
Layla was all shocked when she saw Anabelle here and thought she was just dreaming but found out that Anabelle was all there really and will be schooling with her as from now.
Layla was in all her states since she knew who Anabelle was. She couldn't hold herself back from thinking that Anabelle was just playing over their head with that issue of apologizing to them and befriend them. She wanted to tell everything to Chandler but what if Chandler thinks that she is just want them to not befriend with Layla?
She thought about it and weighed the for and against and thinks about how Chandler could take it.
It's true that Chandler saw how she treated him when she thought he was a nobody and later on apologized ones she discorvered that he was a Zolritch but Chandler will not just judge people like that.
Also, the fact that she came and apologize means that she can finally change. Maybe she also asked for friendship with him because she knew his status was high and close to hers since the Zolritch ruled the second largest continent among the human clan after the Vincent.
It maybe something or the other thing but he will just decide to give her a chance and study her before trying to say what she wants and why she choosed him as a friend. On the other hand, Layla was already up with her mind and decided to not take her as her friend
"If she thinks that she will take my Chandler, then she doesn't know with who she is joking. I will never let her take Chandler" said Layla as she went to her bed.
"Why am i even bordering myself, she can never take Chandler with such a behaviour. I know Chandler for a very long time and I can say that he is not interested in this kind of person who think they can have all what they desire with money"
Saying so, Layla smiled and took hold of her laptop as she started browsing.
At the Zolritch's mansion, Chandler was in his room laid on the bed. Chandler was thinking about what happened earlier during the day between Layla and Anabelle.
At the school canteen, in the upper floor where they usually have their meal, Chandler was seated with Layla when Anabelle came and greeted them before having to sit with them since Chandler has already accepted her as a friend.
But the problem was that Layla and Anabelle were not very happy to be with each other. They looked at each other with a frown and when Chandler came up with a topic of discussion, Layla and Anabelle will fight to talk more than the other and even try to show the other that they don't need the other's opinion.
As Chandler listened to them, he was all lost as to why they were doing all this. All he thought about was just that this is all women's caprices. They will just try to proove each other that they are the best and the other is nothing but a piece of cupcake.
Each time they were talking, he will just step aside because at all time, the discussion will end up in an arguement between Layla and Anabelle meanwhile as he tried to calm them down, they will look at him with faces saying that he should just shut up and looked or else.....
He just left them to be and the break turned to an arguement among the two. The students in the same floor as them were just looking at the show while they also gossip a little among them.
"Turns out that these girls are just mad at each other. I read in a magazine that girls like to show each other that they are the best. Especially when they are fighting to get thesame thing" thought Chandler
"It also said that they did so when they wanted to impress a guy that they like. So each of them make like thesame guy and want to show each other that they will be the first to get him" Chandler never understood girls since his childhood
"But who can be that guy, me? Hahahahahahah.....it can never be me right, Layla is a friend of mine since childhood and Anabelle can't just like me like that. She just came to school and she doesn't know me that well" Chandler was already confused with all these and tried to figure out things but it wasn't his part
"Ohhh....I also heard that love is not a matter of knowing someone before you can love him/her. Like having a crush on someone immediately as you put an eye on him. Maybe that is what happened to Anabelle. What am I even thinking of, Anabelle can never love me nor Layla can. Anabelle has this personality of loving only herself and not care about other's feeling. This is what I know after observing her today. So i don't think the guy must be me"
"All this makes my head to pain. I will never understand what love is all about and how girls think. Their brain is like a complex labyrinthe with no way out, so I will never think about all these"
Thinking about all these made Chandler to go downstairs and put an ice pack on his head. His head was overheating after trying to think about those girls things. He will never have a problem when it comes to think about other things but girls matters and whim will overheat his brain.
"Sometimes I think that girls are stupid but they are also beautiful. Their way of behaving is a whole mystery and this thing about love...aaahhh this is another matter. I will better leave it at the back of my head and let them be"
Saying so, Chandler put back the icepack in the fridge and went to his room to have a nice sleep and be ready for another boring day
