"You...saved me", a small weak voice says catching mine an Tyler's attention. Alex was awake, and staring at me.
"Alex!", I said with a small smile on my face! She's awake!

Kaden looked at me with a small smile but I frowned as I don't remember what exactly happened. All I remember is opening my eyes an Kaden is there! But why?
Kaden frowned and shook his head, looking at me with a serious face
" Alex, why didn't you tell me?", he said running his face with his hands
I looked confused until A sudden flash of memories came through and everything came back to me! Kaden saw me weak! I took a brief look at him, all of a sudden I remembered my dad! I ripped off the IV an removed the sheet
" whoa, what the hell are you doing?", Tyler yelled out to which I ran and laid her back
" Alex stop your still hurt!", Kaden said softly
I shook my head rapidly, couldn't breathe properly!
Tears brimmed my eyes as I could hear the heart monitor going off like crazy!
" Alex please breathe... I'm here... I don't care about your scars... your a survivor a fighter... My fighter... please calm down", Kaden whispers in my ear soothingly as he rubs my arm gently
Wait! Did he just say I'm his fighter? What did he mean?
I looked up at him as tears fell from my eyes, tiredness over bearing my senses
"Get some rest baby, I'll be here", Kaden whispers an kisses my cheek just as my eyes drifted off an closed!
Dream~
" get back here bitch" my dad yells yanking my hair back and slamming my body into the wall
" daddy please stop, what have I ever done to you", I cried sobbing. My dad stops and grabs a pocket knife an points it towards me," it should have been you, you took her from me, you fucking bitch", he says holding my face in his rough hands and just as I'm about to scream he slices the knife from my temple all the way across my chin
"Now that will teach you to never take shit from me ever", he says with such anger
My vision blurred and everything went black!
End of Dream~
Alex's screams echoed throughout the room. I bolted upright an her body was having a seizure.
" Help!", Tyler screamed out the room door
I held her down calling out to her but she couldn't hear me!
Doctors and nurses came in moving me out of the way as I protested but Tyler held me back just as they shut the room door
I grabbed my head frustrated with such anger that I punched through the hospital wall sliding down it
"Kaden its okay... she will be fine bro", Tyler said squeezing my shoulder
" how long will she have to suffer Ty?", I said in a whisper with a faraway look!
" I know... but we will be there for her... all we can do is wait an help her get through this", he says kneeling next to me
A doctor came out with a pained looked on his face and that immediately got my attention
" what's wrong?", I said panicked by his actions
" it seems she had a nightmare, that caused a severe anxiety attack which escalated to having a seizure. We sedated her but she's fine whatever she dreamt of must have been really traumatic for her to undergo what she just went through", the doc said with a sad expression," you can go back in!", he stated with a small smile an walked away
Tyler and I slowly walked into the room to see that they had put the oxygen mask back on her face. I gave a pained expression and Tyler clenched his fists sitting down on the opposite side of her bed
" should we just tell the police?", Tyler asked me with a grimace
I shook my head," no not yet.... I just.... we need to be careful... who knows what her father is capable of...", I said taking Alex's hand in mine and caressing it softly.
I don't want to see her going through this I can't take it! Why does someone so innocent like her have to go through so much pain and suffering.
How can someone who is suppose to be her parent, her role model, her guardian is suppose to hurt her, leaving damaged scars.
"Kaden, bro stop ", Tyler says with worry. He knows what I'm capable of I just don't want her in pain anymore.
" I.... I gotta go", I said clenching my hands into fists and walking out
"Kaden....Kaden", Tyler yelled out for me but I'm too angered to even go back.

I hope that damn boy doesn't do anything stupid. Please damnit don't do anything stupid' my mind kept repeating over and over.
When Kaden is in his anger mode there's no stopping him!
I took Alex's hand softly and rubbed it slowly
" you need to get better baby girl.. we want you to get better", I whispered softly in her ear kissing her temple an laying my head down beside her. Closing my eyes slowly and falling asleep I swear I felt a small squeeze but set it out as my mind playing tricks on me.

Opening my eyes was one of the hardest things I could have done. The light stung my eyes so I opened them slowly an carefully.
My vision was still fuzzy but I was able to see an outline of someone sitting next to me. The person groaned as I winced sitting up
"Alex!", the voice says I recognize of
" Tyler", I whisper
" I'm so happy your awake", he says moving a strand of hair from my face.
I frowned when I notice Kaden's not in the room. Sensing my mood, Tyler assured me he'd come back that he was upset with what happened.
I laid back down and curled on my side waiting for Kaden to show up. I don't know how long I waited but I eventually drifted off back to sleep.
" how long has she been out?", a deep husky voice says as i felt a warm soft hand stroke my cheek
" she fell asleep three hours ago.. she was looking for you", the voice of Tyler says
The deep husky voice sighs and mutters something I couldn't make out
"Alex!", the voice says I open my eyes slowly and perk up when I see Kaden. I sit up quick and throw my arms around him with tears in my eyes
" your here", i say in a small voice
He puts his face in my neck and inhales before kissing my cheek softly," I'm sorry I had to get some air, I was just upset. But not at you", he said tracing my scar making me shiver to his touch
" I'll leave you both to talk... I'm gonna get something to eat y'all want anything", Tyler said holding the door open
We shook our heads as he left
Kaden looked at me an wiped under my eye not noticing a stray tear fell
" what's wrong?", he says softly with a frown
" my dad", I say shaking my head
" you ain't got to worry about him, he will never hurt you again", Kaden said with venom
I looked at him shocked " what did you do?", I say
He looked at me like I was crazy," what do you mean, you think I'm just gonna let him hurt you like he has, hell fucking no! I won't let that shit happen Alex", he yelled causing me to lean away from him. My shaking began!
" I'm sorry Alex, I just.... please let me help you", he said looking at me with sadness an determination.
" I did a lot of things Kaden. I cut... to... to get rid of the pain. I'm broken.... I have scars everywhere.. I have scars", I said with tears and sobbing
Kaden stood up and sat in front of me taking my hands and lifting up the hospital sleeve
" these prove just how strong you are baby... this shows what a warrior you are.. you may have not fought, but you damn as well sure have survived!", he said with such love in his eyes that I sobbed harder pulling my hand away harshly
" I tried to stop cutting..I did..but what more can you do to help me. I'm broken, a worthless suicidal-piece of nothing", she looked so pale and broken. Her skin covered with scars everywhere.
I couldn't do anything but place my hand on her soft smooth cheek as tears fell down from it.
I kissed her tears away one by one!
" your not nothing. Your everything! Your beautiful with or without scars. I love your small tiny smile, I love your voice, I love when you trust to tell me who did this to you.. I love that your you", I said looking at her deeply. I knew my eyes held love an adoration for her cause she was shocked and flung herself at me, wrapping her tiny arms around my neck sobbing into my neck
" no one had ever said that to me before besides my mommy", she says and I kiss her temple rocking her back and forth to calm her. Wouldn't want another episode!
Tyler finally came back with a sulky deadpanned expression
" what's wrong?", I ask with a confused look
Tyler looked at me then at Alex
" he's here!", he looks up with an angered expression which puts me on high alert. Her father had the balls to come here'
I'm gonna hurt him so bad he'll never see daylight. I'll hurt him so bad, he'll never put his hands on my girl again!
Alex shockingly pulled me close to her where my back was pressed up against her face as she fisted a hold of my shirt nuzzling her face between my shoulder blades, shaking slightly
" please don't let him hurt me!", she whimpered
I nodded to Tyler who stood next to me an I grabbed Alex's thigh
" I would never let him hurt you baby, I promise you that", I said pulling her more into me.
